🚧 We’re dredging Buffalo Harbor! A $2.3M contract with Ryba Marine Construction Co. starts as early as July 18 to remove ~190k cubic yards of sediment, keeping Great Lakes waterways safe & navigable. Best of all? The material will help build a new wetland in the outer harbor!

Undaunted by rain, Guild members and friends were proud to again join @BNWaterkeeper's spring cleanup Saturday, along the Scajaquada shoreline. Everything from discarded bottles to abandoned construction material got hauled to the curb. We believe in protecting our community!

Buffalo's Great Lakes and Niagara River are among the world's most valuable natural resources,  powering our homes, supplying our drinking water, and shaping our way of life. That's why I'm proud to announce federal funding I secured for Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper to expand water quality monitoring, shoreline risk assessments, and STEM education for WNY students. Grateful to Jill Jedlicka and the entire @BNWaterkeeper team for their tireless work protecting our region's greatest asset.
