Torruco was competing in the Men's 30–34 division when he collapsed during the opening day of competition on October 23. He was taken to Hospital Horacio Oduber, where he remained under medical care until his passing. Reports described the incident as a severe medical crisis, with dehydration and a possible heart attack mentioned. The exact medical circumstances have not been independently confirmed. ⚡ RED BULL LAUNCHES ITS OWN FITNESS RACING COMPETITION Red Bull is moving beyond sponsorship and into the fitness racing arena with the launch of the Red Bull Power Race, a bodyweight-focused competition that has completed its debut season across Southeast Asia. Unlike HYROX, which combines running with functional workout stations, Power Race strips things back to running and basic bodyweight exercises. Athletes tackle four 400-metre laps, completing sets of push-ups, sit-ups, and squats between each lap. The inaugural season featured national qualifiers in Kuala Lumpur, Yangon, Jakarta, and Bangkok before the International Final took place in Bangkok on October 18.
