The extension division of the Thai Rice Department featuring Land Laser Leveling in their exhibition for the 18th anniversary.
The Rice Science Division also shows lots of interesting innovations, like rice ice cream from purple rice, the AllRice App or rice-buckwheat rotation.
Met rice farmers from Tak province in northern Thailand. The farmers are proud of their local upland rice varieties which yield lower than modern ones but taste better according to them 🌾
Presenting our dearest congratulations from @irri to the Thai Rice Department on the occasion of their 18th anniversary 🇹🇭 🌾
We should also look at some positive news and recognise that some of our approaches work very well. We have to preserve what's effective and adjust where needed.
Evolution, not revolution! (thanks, @TJKrupnik, for that 😉)
