‼️ The FBI says it unmasked a darknet fentanyl shop through fingerprints on its parcels and a Coinbase account in a suspect's own name.
Akeem Pottinger of Florida and Jamal Weir of Connecticut are charged with conspiring to sell 400+ grams of fentanyl.
An undercover FBI buyer paid the vendor, CrystalNBluCandy, in Bitcoin. The coins went straight on to a Coinbase wallet listing Weir's name and address.
Pottinger's prints were on parcels mailed from Florida, and Weir's on later ones from Connecticut.
Weir was already in jail. Police raiding his home in a separate case in August say they found 8,270 suspected fentanyl pills.

If the @jlpjamaica is smart, they'll make sure Jamaicans never forget what happened on Nov. 3 in Parliament. Because if Mark Golding and his party can look the Jamaican people in the eye and lie despite indisputable video evidence, why should anyone believe a word they say?

PriceSmart Inc will open its 60th warehouse club along South Camp Road in Kingston this December, continuing a major investment drive in Jamaica that has seen the retailer commit more than US$55 million to two new stores, alongside upgrades to its distribution network.
The South Camp Road club, developed at a cost of US$27.6 million, will become the company’s fourth Jamaican location and its second in Kingston, joining the Red Hills Road outlet which opened in February 2003.
