@astrosCTH Nominee for the worst statement in 2023. Maybe spend less time finding ways to bash Dusty and more time making sure sentences like this don't see the light of day. "Pena was the unsung hero in the playoffs, winning both 2022 ALCS and World Series MVP."

@alliramos1620 To answer your first question in the BCS article from the other day: Howard mentions the company they get PIs and whatnot thru called HMM and gave them a new phone number earlier. Then Howard calls the "new " security company and gets this "PI."
1
Obviously, Kim and Jimmy had someone make that call and hired a PI or someone to act like a PI specifically for when Howard needed a PI. Howard says later he called the old number and actually got the correct company. They never changed numbers.
1
In other words, Jimmy anticipated Howard hiring a PI, called in to HHM to give them a "new" number for their company through which they hire PIs, and had Howard's "PI" chilling, waiting for the call.

@TBrownYahoo Did you really waste a handful of grafs expanding on how the Astros aren't seen as "prime time presentable?" As if they didn't play day games even when they had the "shine." They've always played day games in the ALDS. Has nothing to do with the scandal.
1
G3 was the noon weekday game, not G2. I typed the wrong number. The point is, the No. 1 seed in the AL was playing at 1 p.m. and 12 p.m. on a Friday and Monday. It's all about the Houston market not being seen as palatable for the networks.
2
Astros win the 2017 World Series and are rewarded with all day games against Cleveland in the 2018 ALDS. I understand it's in style to somehow connect every single thing about the 2020 Astros to the scandal, but it doesn't work here. They always get the day games in the ALDS.

The Astros again have the lowest strikeout rate in the league (19.7%) by a wide margin. The gap between the Astros and the 2nd lowest is larger than the gap between 2nd and 11th place.
