The Bitcoin Miner's Almanac is a book in two parts.... The first section introduces you to the WHAT and the HOW of mining. But that isn't enough... We start with the machine itself and the four component parts that constitute it. We then move to the three requirements to run the machine (electricity, internet, cooling). On that journey we explore hashing, on the grid, off the grid, and various strategies and tools operators use to contain, protect, run, and cool machines. But that's only half of the story... The other half of the story lies in the group of people who mine, and the strategies that keep them chasing sats day after day. Some are mega, and some are tiny and discreet, some are purely ideologically driven, and some come from traditional corporate backgrounds. As the launch date for the book approaches (less than a month now!), I'm excited to introduce you to them (many you already know) and share more of what they have to say.
