Chase Lumpkin | 2027 | 6’3 | CG | McEachern HS (GA) | Jet Academy (Nike EYBL) Pros: Athletic, shifty, and plus ball handling ability, he really showed off how much of an athlete he is in getting downhill with his explosive, yet refined, lateral movement and foot speed. Take into account how much vertical explosiveness he has as well, and you see how much of threat he is at getting to the rim and converting with ease. He showed off his range throughout the weekend, making some spot up shots from well beyond the arc, and knocking down C&S opportunities in the corner as a movement shooter, using his athleticism and deceleration ability to get to his spots, without the ball, and finding ways to lose his man in traffic. The vertical athleticism also allows him to contest opponents at the rim, and fluster bigs, on top of showing off his Point of Attack defense, by picking up the opposing lead guard and denying them the ability to get downhill Areas of Improvement: There are differences in his ability to shoot from range either off of one dribble or in C&S situations. He clearly has the athleticism to create separation, and the shooting mechanics are fluid, there just needs to be some refinement in his shot off the dribble. Even with his athleticism as an asset, he can mistime the jump, to contest shots at the rim, and get the foul called on him, although this can be improved upon.

Asa Montgomery | 2027 | 6’6 | SF | Hillgrove HS (GA) | AOT (Nike EYBL) Pros: Plus athlete, and a true open court threat due to his combination of speed and explosive vertical ability. Being such a high flying athlete, with insane body control in the air, and an advanced rim finishing package, makes him an deadly cutter / roller as well, as he needs very little space to operate and jump over everyone, and can go straight up to the rim in the dunkers spot to catch lobs or make statement putback dunks. His athleticism in the air, also allows him to clean the glass with impressive chasedown blocks or even in coming off the weak side ball action to contest opponents at the rim. Areas of Improvement: Didn’t see too much shooting from him this past weekend, if he can add a consistent outside stationary shot, then it would add more dimension to his game. Given his gravity due to his ability to finish at the rim, and incredible floating ability, I’d like to see him use that to his advantage and distribute the ball more as he generates so much attention at the rim and in the paint, that there are a multitude of open shooters, and unchecked teammates in the paint, he has surrounding him, that he could generate so many assists through identifying reads off the dribble and in the air.

Benjamin Berrouet | 2028 | 6’6 | PF / C | Dynamic Prep (TX) | AB Elite (Nike EYBL) Pros: It’s really not funny how biased I am towards this kid. To see a mix of feel, size, defense, three level scoring ability, and sneaky athleticism in a young player is quite a rarity. The fact his back to the basket game is so refined, with being able to hit fadeaway jumpers, and using his length, body, and footwork to finesse his way to the rim & through contact is already a mix of pro level moves that can translate well at the collegiate and NBA level. At face value, you might not think he’s athletic, but once you see how he can get up with some nasty throw downs, and in being able to meet other bigs at the rim to be a true vertical protector, shows that he is ready to be a immediate contributor wherever he ultimately commits to play. Areas of Improvement: Even though controlled, and intentional, foot speed, was another strength of his, some of his matchups against quicker guards, such as Cayden Daughtry, showed that there could be further improvement made in being able to create some quicker lateral adjustments in his current defense, but this was almost ancillary in comparison to everything else he has shown so far @benjiberrouet10

D.J. Parker | 2030 | 6’6 | SF | Duncanville HS (TX) | AB Elite / Legynds (Nike EYBL) Pros: With his length, shooting ability, and non stop motor at the rim on both sides of the floor, Parker has the tools that are quintessential for the modern day wing. He has a lot of confidence in his shot creation, challenging other forwards and wings, in his pull jumper from behind the arc and in the interior, mixed with a high release point, and effortless lift, he can excel with his fadeaway move and as stationary shooter. His vocalness on the floor was apparent as he conducted his team in out of bounds situations and close game situations at the FT line, while uplifting his team with words of encouragement, showing his maturity and leadership is well above his age. His effort was also something to note, as he fought to secure his own rebounds in missed layups and shots, and outmuscling bigs to secure boards and being aware to distribute the ball out of the dunkers spot to open men in both corners. Areas of Improvement: Some slight tweaks to his shot can be made to get some more arc on his shot, as it can have some flatness, but I expect this to be corrected soon given his age, and confidence in his current shooting mechanics. As athletic as he is, I don’t think we’ve seen his peak athleticism yet, while making some serious dunks in the open floor, and in open lanes, I noticed there was a tendency to really convert his dunks either in stride or off two feet, but the vertical explosiones should develop as he matures.

Josiah Brooks | 2029 | 6’1 | CG | SLAM Miami (FL) | Nightrydas Elite (Nike EYBL) Pros: Biggest takeaway from his performance this past weekend was his awareness and court vision. Due to his speed and vertical athleticism and relentlessness to get to the basket, he generates so much gravity at the rim that the floor naturally opens up for him, and he can take advantage of that by disturbing the ball in some unique ways. He was hitting no looks cross court passes, no look drop off passes, and some of the most surgical bounce passes in tight space, to give his team so many scoring opportunities. His IQ was on display as well, as he created second chances for his team in bouncing the ball off his opponents for an oob situation in close game situations, along with baiting the defensive switch to attack mismatches himself or in identifying mismatches at the rim. Areas of Improvement: Ball security is something to note as he has some looseness in his handle and can be too focused on getting downhill that he dribbles into traffic or the double team. Seems to be more of an 1 to 2 touch guard that excels in playing fast or in keeping broken down plays alive, but that doesn’t minimize the threat that he is as a scoring threat and creator.

Bryce Irby | 2029 | 6’5 | W | Lutheran East HS (OH) | Indy Heat (Nike EYBL) Pros: Advanced bag for his age, considering he is only just 15 years of age. He is extremely aware of his spots on the floor and can excel as a movement shooter, knowing how to use pindowns and even how to identify opportunities to trap his opponents in picks to get a better look for a shot. He made a 180 counter fadeaway shot over multiple bigs that caught my attention, and solidified his advanced and maturity in his shot creation and selection. Given his size he moves very well, and fluid, that his game resembles that of a guard, more than a wing player, and had an advanced ability to know when to slash toward the rim on the weak side action. His fluidity boded well in being able to stay on his man, and knowing when to switch onto smaller players and contesting their ability to drive to the rim, or in flustering opponents on the perimeter by denying them an good look to shoot or drive Areas of Improvement: Given his size I’d like to see him get to the basket more, as he has the ball handling ability and smooth touch to score against most bigs at his age, but he seems to defer to those same tools at the mid range, rather than attacking the basket. Given his age, the ceiling is still high, and would expect to see this improvement in the coming years.

Draydne McDaniel | 2029 | 6’6 | PF | Prolific Prep (FL) | Pro One (Under Armour Assoc.) Pros: A relentless force at the rim that plays bigger than he is, while combining strength, motor, and vertical timing to his game on both sides of the floor. His ability to meet opponents at the rim, with controlled aggression, and turning the rim into a no fly zone, due to his timed jumps that allow him to generate clean blocks and deflections, even if he’s on the other side of the block, made him one of the most dangerous bigs during this past weekends event. He showed a lot of poise in the post as well, as he timed the contact to generate the foul, every time he went up, and was able to dunk or finish over other bigs that dared to jump with him. His slashing ability was also one of the most pronounced skills, as he is such a force in getting to, and finishing around, the basket, mixed with some shooting from the interior, that made him an intriguing name all weekend Areas of Improvement: He showed ability to space the floor with stationary shooting, and PnP action, but would like to see more consistency in his jumper, as time progresses, but the foundation is there. Given his touch around the rim and awareness to distribute the ball out of the post, there is something to build upon with expanding his offensive game even more than what he has shown, but the tools were displayed against elite company.

Rahman “Deuce” Grayson | 2030 | 5’11 | CG | Holy Innocents Episcopal (GA) | Jet Academy (Nike EYBL) Pros: An electric combo guard that showed athleticism above his peers, and advanced skill as a guard, with poised shot creation, speed, vertical athleticism, and positional defense, that made him standout, even as a smaller guard. His confidence was on display as he challenged bigs at the rim, and made some incredible finishes, even through the hardest contact, showing how much of an mix of vertical ability, and ability to work the backboard, that he has. Shooting from beyond the arc was so advanced, as he made multiple dribble pull ups, in contention, and was automatic as a stationary shooter. His speed helped him defend the guard position with ease, and gave him the advantage to pester wings and bigs, even in the paint. Areas of Improvement: As confident as he is in his athleticism and ability to get to the rim, there were certain instances where he attempted to challenge the bigs too often, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I’d like to see him use his gravity to distribute the ball more often. Nonetheless, don’t count him out due to his size, he is a lethal scorer and boding defender.

CJ Rosser | 2027 | 6’10 | PF | Southeastern Prep (FL) | Team United (Nike EYBL) Pros: One of my favorite prospects, since I saw him at the 2025 Final Four USAB JNT Minicamp. His ability to space the floor, and use his length to get to the rim, and make use of it on the defensive end, both at the rim, and the perimeter, make him an a prototypical wing player, that can cause chaos on the defensive end while being an matchup nightmare on the perimeter. Even with the shot not falling consistently, the mechanics still were sound, and spot up shooting was still his best asset. He made multiple defensive actions, such as a pair of steals he converted for defense to offense, and showcased how his length could disrupt opponents ball movement, as well as using his length to rotate & switch efficiently. Areas of improvement: Although he has wiggle in his game, and sound ball handling, allowing him to generate chances at the rim, I’d like to see him be able to hone in a smoother touch around the rim, and well as expand his layup package, than just going straight up on contested drive attempts. @CJRosser7
