Thanks to @bvschools for this awesome feature on our library program! It showcases the foundations that guide our work, and the many ways we support students. Today's school libraries are not just book repositories, but active, inclusive learning spaces for all!

Collaboration at HS? On average 20 classes/day across the district are working with their HS librarians! Snapshot of just one day below. Follow them on Twitter to see all of the awesome work supporting S learning! @bvwlibrary @bvnlibrary @BVHLibrary @bvswlibrary @bvnwlibrary

What are we thankful for? Being one of the most awarded library programs in the past 40 years! Stay tuned the next few weeks to see practices librarians focus on to build strong, instruction-based library media programs. #collaboration #literacy #flexibleschedule #librarystrong

Follow along next week as we highlight different areas of the library program! School libraries are the hub of the school, the leaders of literacy, and the home of instructional collaboration! It’s time to celebrate all of this work, and the people behind it! @bvschools

As @bvschools teachers and students prepare for continuous learning to begin tomorrow, remember librarians are here to help! Tech help and integration, lesson resources, collaboration, research, read alouds, ebooks, copyright ?s—you name it! Don’t hesitate to reach out. #here4u

Well said! Library paras do so much more than check in/out books! So much behind the scenes work to keep our programs running, and allow our librarians to lead literacy and collaborate with teachers. Thankful to have Susan to train them, guide them, and be a direct resource!

No pic, but had 7 K-12 librarians in yesterday working on cross walking our BV LM standards with KS and AASL national standards. So reaffirming to know that our libraries are living the Nat’l standards! Great convos about moving forward to keep getting better! @bvschools @aasl
