The seven trees planted in this area represent each of the Grandfather Teachings. The pathway along the sidewalk represents our shared journey along the Good Path in life. The pained hands remind us that authentic reconciliation and healing will take time. #GoodPath
Alexandra @BluewaterDSB celebrated National Indigenous Peoples Day with the unveiling and dedication of “Thoughtful Spaces.” This project, in partnership with @CityOwenSound is intended to help us “remember the past, respect the present and build the future together.”
It was SO nice to see an incredible group of young ladies spend the day at the board office today taking part in “Girls Who Game.” Thank you Nine 4 Nature (MAC)and the Spice Girls (EMP) for showing us the critical thinking and collaboration that goes into gaming! @BluewaterDSB
Also wanted to add the incredible art work that we passed upon entering the gym at @PeninsulaShores. So much talent! @BluewaterDSB

Thank you to the Chesley Agriculture Program @CDCSAg for the tour of the facilities and the incredible beef on a bun!!! The pigs were busy putting on a show, the rabbits were being loved on by all and the tomato plants were amazing (well done Joe!). @BluewaterDSB @GreyBruceOYAP
Another great morning of learning with @dduff77 @BluewaterDSB! Thanks for “scaling up” our thinking and “decomposing” our misconceptions! Lots to unpack!!!
Wow! That was some energy from Classic Roots today! This Anishinaabe artist brought together traditional fancy dance and modern beats to create an upbeat event that kicked off Indigenous History Month @BluewaterDSB #IndigenousHistoryMonth
A visit today to #GBCS, one of @BluewaterDSB newest schools! Thanks Mr. Wilson for the welcome and to the students who took the time to share with me all of the great things they learned this year. Some beautiful master pieces…
Great to see the Pride flags flying in support at schools within @BWDSBProgram @OSDSS_Official #GBCS
Happy Pride Month! In #BWDSB, we celebrate diversity, acceptance, and inclusion, as well as expand our learning on important issues impacting those who identify as LGBTQ2S+. During June, our schools/work sites are raising/displaying the Pride flag as an expression of support.
