I have brilliant friends that believe Unfinished Murder Ballads, my collection from @BacklashPress, would be a great tv show. Well, they’re starting to make some noise with the pilot script. Out of 805 movie/tv scripts submitted to this contest, the project made the top 25! – at Columbus, OH

I know you Os and Mcs might deny me but Heffernans are as Irish as any of you. Yes we had to grovel before Quinns and were scoundrel horse traders and some say the name means den of thieves. But don’t reject your kin, ye posh Dubliners! 🇮🇪

In education, particularly for Black children, many diagnosable "impediments" & disorders are socially constructed. They reflect the inability of the system to capture the vastness of our children's excellence but are presented as accurate measures of their deficits #HipHopEd

This year we'll publish our 50th title. Never in a gazillion years after remortgaging our house to find great new stories corporate publishing overlooked did we think we'd still be here. Thank you to all the booksellers, librarians and book lovers who've supported us.
