On November 5, 2020, two days after Joe Biden won the presidential election, Hasan Piker discussed his frustration with centrists in the Democratic Party who were making the claim that the Democratic Party lost seats due to socialism:
"Never, ever, ever let a Democrat fucking tell you that socialism or leftists are the reason why you lose fucking races because that's absolutely, pathetically wrong. Fuck these CIA andies. I'm tired of these fucking bluedog, ex-CIA motherfuckers in the Democratic Party, trying to make the Democratic Party more Republican.
If you shift your priorities to try to win over as many upper-middle class college educated white people that would otherwise vote Republican, then you're just a lite Republican Party. Why are you trying to be the Republican Party?"

Stephen A Smith is intellectually overmatched. He looks like a clown.
Stephen A. Smith PRESSES Abdul El-Sayed on Abolishing ICE — Then Gets a Firm Answer on Open Borders
Stephen A. Smith: You’ve said the only way forward is to abolish ICE and start from scratch. What does that mean?
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed: Let me be clear: I believe we ought to have a safe, secure southern border.
I believe you ought to enforce immigration law, but not through masked men with AR-15s acting against the Constitution.
ICE didn’t exist before this century. It’s not part of the Constitution. ICE is not about immigration. It’s about making a show of immigration and normalising paramilitary force on our streets.
I believe we need to undo it and build a system that enforces immigration law while respecting the Constitution.
Stephen A. Smith: Is there any condition under which you think open borders are acceptable?
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed: No. You have to have borders that you can control. There’s no question about that.
People think ICE is about border enforcement, but it’s not. Customs and Border Protection enforces the border. ICE handles immigration enforcement inside the country.

Imagine if Russell Brand were Muslim. Everyone on here would be calling him a "Muslim rapist."
So why is no one calling him a "Christian rapist?"

as AI collapses, I hope you all look at the most banal things like the inside of envelopes, and realize a human being created them. All these beautiful things, human beings made. There is design in everything manmade, everywhere- someone designed it. Never forget that

I’m kinda sad because Dragon Ball will never have this level of choreography showing off Goku’s martial arts skills again.

The power of building games from the ground up instead of making everything in UE5.
I know modern developers are absolutely stunned by this level of detail. 😭
While playing Zelda: OoT, I noticed a few details that really caught my eye, and they're seriously impressive!
I spotted this one completely by chance: when Link walks down stairs, he looks down at his footing so he doesn't trip, and when he walks up stairs, he looks up ahead!
Like in BotW, you can cut the grass, and the way it breaks apart and sends leaves fluttering down is really cool. Even better, when Link swings his weapon and stirs up a gust of wind, the leaves lying on the ground react to it.
Maybe other games already had all of this and I just never noticed. Still, OoT is already so polished overall, and the fact that it also includes tiny details like these is really impressive!

Playing Ocarina helps confirm what Ive been thinking: maps are way too big in games these days. They dont need to be that big. Noone needs that. Near 30 years later and people still hunger for the elegance of simplicity
