In light of recent events, I'd like to remind everyone that Minecraft's development isn't as simple as it seems. Sure, Mojang could be more organised when it comes to managing player expectations. But the developers aren't lazy in the slightest.
Why do Minecraft updates take so long to come out, especially when compared to mods? It's complicated. Let's shed some light on it.
