I absolutely love this one: “Ukraine is the most corrupt country in the world” and “all Western aid gets stolen.”
And yet, somehow, Ukraine is about to enter the sixth year of its full-scale war against Russia, which not only has failed to defeat it all this time, but is now itself taking strikes on its own territory all the way to western Siberia.
Apparently, some people seriously believe that you can fight a years-long war of attrition against the entire military and economic might of Russia and its totalitarian allies, such as the Iranian regime and North Korea, in roughly the same way roads get built in the world's truly most corrupt places: you get, say, a million monies from the corrupt authorities' budget. You kick back 30% to the officials who gave you the contract, pocket another 50% yourself, and then use whatever crumbs are left to “build a road,” however the hell you feel like it, with the quality you'd expect.
Well, no, my dear friends.
Ukraine as a state is extraordinarily far from perfect, and not just when it comes to fighting corruption.
But I'm sorry, the “most corrupt countries in the world” would never have managed to stay on their feet, let alone put up a fight against a giant as overwhelmingly powerful as Russia, even if the entire West had handed over its entire GDP to them in one go.

🇨🇦🇺🇦Canadian manufacturer Roshel has now delivered nearly 3,000 Senator armored vehicles to Ukraine, according to its latest figures.
The delivery figures published by the manufacturer show a significant increase in pace:
📍December 2023: 1,000 vehicles delivered.
📍December 2025: 2,000 vehicles delivered.
📍October 2026: Nearly 3,000 vehicles delivered.
That’s roughly 1,000 vehicles delivered over two years, followed by almost another 1,000 in less than 11 months.
Meaning, Roshel’s delivery rate to Ukraine has effectively doubled, from around 500 to nearly 1,000 Senator armored vehicles per year.

Day 5 and we are at €1,232. We have moved only €13 since yesterday, so yes, this one has slowed down pretty badly and I really need some help getting it moving again.
I am fundraising for my guys from Wave Raid, a unit within TRITON of the Timur Special Unit, DIU (GUR) of Ukraine, operating on the Black Sea. This time the list is unfortunately quite a monster because basically everything decided to be needed at the same time.
EQUIPMENT
• 14 × PTT for Peltors, connecting radios to the headsets so the guys can communicate hands free
• 4 × Mustang life jackets
• 2 × Peltor headsets
• 3 × lanyards
• 3 × Pelican cases
• Tactical belts, plate carriers, pouches and backpacks
• 4 × lasers
• 2 × Holosun kits
• 4 × GoPro type cameras
And then we have five vehicles waiting for repairs and maintenance.

🚑 Ambulance 2: right side shock absorber and engine
🚙 Land Rover: suspension
🚙 Hyundai Terracan: oil change and suspension
🛻 Mitsubishi L200: oil, filters and suspension
The fundraiser also covers fuel, accommodation, basic living expenses and everyday operational costs, because all of those continue every single day regardless of what else suddenly breaks or needs to be bought.
There is no one exciting big item here that I can show you and say this is what €13,624 buys. It is communication equipment, life jackets, personal gear, optics, cameras, vehicle repairs, fuel, rent and all those boring but necessary things that keep the guys equipped, vehicles moving and everyday operations on the Black Sea functioning.
We have €1,232 of €13,624 on Day 5, so there is still a painfully long way to go. At this point I would just really like to see this moving again instead of €5 here and then hours of absolutely nothing.
