Mohammed Yousaf is a solicitor in Bradford. He was caught on camera offering to help people fraudulently avoid fines for employing illegal workers. He said he does it "all the time". I've written to the Solicitors Regulator calling for him to be struck off.

Man City fans and ex-players keep saying, ā€œThey appealed, so they haven’t been found guilty.ā€ Others ask, ā€œIf they’re guilty, why haven’t they been sanctioned?ā€ Let’s educate them slowly, slowly. An appeal is NOT a declaration of innocence. It is a legal right to CHALLENGE a decision, its findings or the punishment imposed. Man City has been found guilty of 114/115, and the appeal case must be understood according to the actual findings and applicable procedures. An appeal does not automatically erase an adverse decision. Why does the right to appeal exist? To review whether the evidence was properly assessed, the rules correctly applied and the procedures fairly followed. An appeal is a SAFEGUARD against errors, not proof that an error occurred. An appeal can uphold, overturn or modify a decision. It is NOT an automatic acquittal! 99.9% of appeals are ceremonial. The initial decision is never overturned. Like for city, they are likely to get more issues that might modify the first guilty verdict to 115/115 and possibility of expanding the timing to 2026 for more investigations. So, why haven’t they been sanctioned? The timing depends on the applicable rules and the stage of the proceedings. In Man City’s case, the sanction is between Nov and Dec 2026.

This whopper ā€˜Won’t be silenced’ but has silenced replies on her post… 🤣
I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

I have analysed City's overall commercial revenues relative to payments made by ADUG as noted in the independent commission's report (published last week). The following table shows the percentage of ADUG monies relative to overall reported commercial revenue (25/26 estimated):

This could indeed be quite serious for Man City… Lying to HMRC could result in a prison sentence for those involved! #mancity #premierleague #guilty
Some of them will go to prison.

The Met Police weren’t "powerless" when they banned a UKIP march from Tower Hamlets. The Hampshire Constabulary wasn’t "powerless" when they placed a section.34 over Gosport. British police have the power but don’t apply it consistently. That’s two-tier policing.

Good piece. This is often referred to as the ā€œtime-barredā€ matter at CAS. It was about two payments of Ā£15m recorded as Etisalat sponsor income by Man City in 2011/12 and 2012/13, but which were actually paid to the club by an individual named Jaber Mohamed. Man City made a submission to CAS that clarified these were loans made via an intermediary (called Jaber Mohamed) on behalf of Etisalat because it had liquidity issues at the time and could not afford to pay its sponsorship commitments to Man City. They confirmed that the lender in question was fully repaid in 2015 by Etisalat though. Who was that lender? ADUG. Not the CPC. This is a statement of fact made by Man City to CAS. So if AD sponsors could obtain liquidity from the CPC to fund the Man City sponsor contracts, as the CPC explanation asserts, then why was ADUG paying Etisalat’s Man City sponsorship commitments for two years’ running? As for the repayment in 2015… that only came after a settlement with Uefa in 2014 addressing suspicious sponsorship payments. Cleaning house clearly. Just another fact (one of many) that highlight Man City’s ā€œCPC explanationā€ as totally preposterous.
Manchester City may be undermined by evidence they gave to Uefa over mystery broker āœļø @martynziegler and @Lawton_Times thetimes.com/sport/football/…
