Some sad news coming out of the Sett today as we officially announce that Balham Badgers will no longer be a club for the upcoming season. Injuries, age and people claiming they have other commitments unfortunately mean we can’t reliably put out an 11 week on week any more.
The club would like to give our thanks to everyone at @SouthernSunday who do a terrific job of not just keeping the league going but growing it year on year, in particular @grahamrodber . Without them such a prosperous football pyramid wouldn’t be possible!
Of course eventually, every Badger has its day - but it’s been a fantastic few years. Massive kudos to the boys who founded this great club and brought together a squad of top blokes. We’re all Badgers for life now 🦡 🦡🦡 #UTB
Lord of the Rings. Fury v Wilder. The Godfather. Argentina FC v The Badgers. All great trilogies must end eventually. Just a short trip to Buenos Aires on the agenda this Sunday 🦡🦡 🦡
Confirmed squad for our final game of this trilogy 💪🏼🇦🇷

Great feeling starting the week as Quarter Finalists. Need to give credit to the ref yesterday who controlled a fiery game very well - even reffing some of the game in Spanish for our South American opponents!
Fresh off the back off their World Cup victory, @ArgentinaFCLdn swapped Qatar for the far lusher pastures of Wandsworth Common. Unlike France though, the Badgers nailed their pens to win 4-1 after coming from 2 goals down. Goals from Jake and Andreas and the cup run continues 🦡

Look out for that blue moon tonight after a superb @georrrrgepedlar hat- trick, including a volleyed goal of the season contender, inspired the Badgers to a win over @Mit_Strollers. Adam Tomes with the 4th. Superb tiki-taka football all round followed by riverside pints #UTB 🦡

Win FC Balham Badgers (previously Draw FC) emerge victorious against @LondonNorthcote on Clapham Moorland. Club shagger @Daniel_True1 with a 25 yard screamer and a left foot chip to win it #UTB #OneTeamOneDream #KissTheBadger
Have you heard the story of the race between the Badger and the rest of the league? The Badger gave everyone else a 3 game head start and got their first win courtesy of a 30 yard belter from @brad_saunders_ to add to goals from the Meffan brothers and @Barky32. Well earnt! #UTB
Nothing more Sunday league than a 3-3 thriller in the mud. The Badgers grabbed a much deserved last minute equaliser through @Barky32 after a double from Miquel. Credit to @smpbrixton who are always a pleasure to play! #UTB
Balham Badgers win xG 5.2 Vs 1.2 xG @london_sporting in a solid performance - actual results may vary. @grahamrodber treated to a classic @PodcastSelk
Badgers continue our longest ever unbeaten streak (3) with an agricultural 1-1 against the @AFCBluebirds. Good luck for the season lads
Badgers emerge victorious in the cup 4-3 against @junctionelitefc - can't remember which team but probably their 1sts. @georrrrgepedlar fetching the matchball after turning up late and hungover #COYB
