Been busy! I'm thrilled to have hosted the launch of a really special book this week, in preparation for the Royal Latin's 600th anniversary next year. The Royal Latin heritage & family is huge, unique, full of heart; a joy to be part of. Special place. #belonging #community

Surfacing after delivering another epic #fundraising event; made even more worthwhile when we get feedback like this! Just shows what's possible when you ask your network to help deliver something incredible, & bring people together to share a special experience :) #raisethebar

Thoroughly enjoying a designated day of learning; using it to seek inspiration from transatlantic colleagues & challenging myself to weave their innovations into my actions by the end of the day! Fuelled by hobnobs😁💪🌟#fundraising #alumnirelations #leadership #strategy

By prioritizing relationships, living up to your values, and capitalizing on memorable moments, you lay the foundation for a positive reputation. Your business brand is certainly important, but it’s only a small part of what customers see when they look at your business. #RonR
The struggle is real; but it IS possible to create flourishing #fundraising culture & #leadership. The fundraisers I meet are passionate, talented, good people. With strong, experienced leaders. Both want the same outcome. Brave dialogue forges new trust, respect & shared goals💪
Our survey found 51% of fundraisers plan to leave their jobs by 2021 because they feel a tremendous pressure to succeed and often feel unappreciated. bit.ly/2MIh5yv
When beneficiaries become donors & fundraisers; the highlight of our simple yet powerful annual thank you reception for donors last night was having this card & cash gift pressed shyly into my hand by a beaming youngster❤️🙏❤️#lovemyjob #inspiring #fundraising #charity #donorlove
The most lovely surprise gift from some young donors at our thank you reception last night! Excitement is building...❤️🙏 #SportsCampus #oursportscampusiscoming #thankyou #charity #fundraising #philanthropy #teamwork #community #joinus #700ktogo
So, so happy that I can share this at last! Without doubt one of the best foundations I’ve been fortunate to work with. So grateful to so many who had input & (just about!) kept me sane whilst shaping this bid; #teamwork at its absolute best. #lovemyjob #fundraising #charity
THRILLED that £629,552 has been awarded to the #SportsCampus @TheRoyalLatin @RLSsport by @premierleague @FA & @DCMS for 3G pitch. HUGE thanks to @FootballFoundtn, local clubs & @MKDonsSET for making dreams come true; we can't wait to start!! bit.ly/600News #community

A brief lesson in leadership & respect:
After many displays & tasks, the brilliant @RAFBBMF team arrive 5 mins after dinner starts. Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton GCB ADC, Governor of Jersey, leaves his table, greets each one, buys them a beer & ensures they are seated.

There are some days, especially days like today when I’m here by myself, that this building still brings a lump to my throat & I have to pinch myself...love my job @TheRoyalLatin ❤️😊🙏 #fundraising #charity #philanthropy #gratitude
Feels good to announce this one! Fantastic to see trusts & foundations willing to work so collaboratively now; definitely a change for the better in the philanthropic landscape, and brings everyone closer to purpose & impact. Fab stuff🙏👌👍😊 #fundraising #charity #philanthropy
Oh wow...THANK YOU to London Marathon Charitable Trust for awarding £150k to the #SportsCampus @TheRoyalLatin!! The grant will fund a vibrant, welcoming fitness suite, to inspire young people & vulnerable groups to be more active. FAB!! lmct.org.uk/info-hub/latest-… @RLSsport #charity
Good to catch up with @ExposeMediaMK & start planning another campaign video; we’ve made quite a few over the years, & this next one needs to do several really smart things. No pressure...!💪👍😊#fundraisingvideo #campaignvideo
Great to be at the @HEFestival @TheRSC debate on the impact of arts-rich learning on mental health & wellbeing; food for thought indeed - excited by the potential of my next project!! Huge thanks @UniOfBuckingham for the invite! 😊🙏👌💡💭
Here’s what happens when a generous soul who gives SO much to others, asks for help; he smashes his #fundraising target for @TheBHF & instantly sets his sights higher. Pls support if you can! Good luck @aguadobush - superstar #fundraiser❤️👏💪#charity #sponsorship #philanthropy

Great to tune into #FRO with my new recruit as we excitedly build our digital strategy; thank you @TheResAlliance & speakers for fab content. So vital to allow ALL charities to learn, build & innovate, not just the ones with time & budget. Much appreciated - more please!! 👏👌❤️
