Save the EEOB from Trump destruction! With a dramatic exterior crafted in polished granite, slate, and ornate cast-iron trim, the EEOB is a National Historic Landmark and a defining element of the White House complex. #SaveEEOB, #HistoricPreservation

From the perspective of traditional international diplomacy, the Abu Dhabi summit this week is being treated as an illegitimate, backroom operation.1/5

The administration already turned off crucial intelligence feeds to Ukraine and waived sanctions for Russia just to get Moscow to show up. A real diplomatic process demands mutual de-escalation. Putin continues to bomb civilian infrastructure. 4/5

While Kushner is trying to project the image of a global peacemaker, the rest of the world sees a private citizen running out of time, whose shadow diplomacy is about to collide with the full legal authority of the United States Congress.5/5

When Hitler invaded Poland, no one said "both sides."
Honestly, it’s just so bad and so painful to watch. Pure whitewashing of russian crimes and normalization of russian aggression by shifting the blame onto Ukraine through the repetitive narrative of so-called “both sides.” “Both sides are dying, both sides are guilty, both sides should stop”. There is only one truth: this war will not end until russia fully withdraws from Ukrainian territory. Everything else is a perverse justification of russian crimes against humanity, including the rape of children, the torture and killing of civilians, and plans to expand the war into more European countries. The full video of the Ukrainian and russian delegations at the White House this Thursday can be watched here 👇 youtube.com/live/olZO88UBW-M…

Over and over I see how Jared Kushner is working for Russia. He is under investigation now and should stop what he is doing. It is disgusting and won't be tolerated. Trumps are all filthy and despicable. We need to take away their US citizenship. Can we do that?
Jared, your talk of “30 years of mistrust” and “competing security concerns” sounds remarkably like something Vladimir Putin would write himself. Let me remind you what actually happened during those 30 years. 1992: Russian forces intervened in Moldova’s Transnistrian conflict, helping entrench a separatist territory where Russian troops remain. 2008: Russia fought a war against Georgia and consolidated its occupation of Georgian territory. 2014: Russia illegally annexed Crimea and fuelled a war in eastern Ukraine. 2022: Russia launched the largest invasion in Europe since World War II, bringing massacres in Bucha, torture, deportations of civilians, the forced transfer of children and the systematic destruction of Ukrainian communities. Meanwhile, Russia had already signed the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, promising to respect Ukraine’s sovereignty and borders, and the 1997 NATO-Russia Founding Act, committing itself to European security principles. Europe already had a security architecture, Jared. Russia repeatedly violated it. Your language deliberately blurs the distinction between an aggressor and its victims. That is precisely how the Kremlin wants this conflict presented. Russia is a nuclear power. Nobody in Europe is preparing to invade it. Russia’s neighbours, however, have spent decades defending themselves against Russian aggression. And if you genuinely believe that no country should have a veto over another nation’s alliances, perhaps you should explain that principle to Putin. Europe does not need another security framework designed around Moscow’s imperial ambitions. It needs Russia to respect the borders, sovereignty and international agreements it has repeatedly violated. Stop talking as though Russia and its neighbours are equally responsible for this catastrophe. They are not.

EU to Kushner: Fuck off. “There will be no simultaneous negotiations on European security until the war [against Ukraine] is over. Besides, we know what the Russians mean by that and it will not happen.” ft.com/content/1731d88c-fba2…

Ben Meiselas has a message for Democrats: "Subpoenas need to fly EVERY damn day." "Every single committee, every damn day, doing oversight, subpoenaing people, calling them up, let them run scared, then go to court and sue their asses and force them to testify." We need investigations into what departments are under the control of the chief of staff and what exactly is being built in those 6 levels under the "ballroom." Trump is planning on running a gov without congress and Stephen Miller the psycho nazi is in charge of it.

Is everyone perfectly clear that Trump heard America show up and defeat MAGA fascists and his response is to double down acting AGAINST America's will. Can we now treat this as a hostile occupation and Trump as an enemy of the state? What does it take to remove them all.
If Donald Trump wants to be Mr. Veto, let’s test that out. The new Democratic majority in Congress should pass bills to make life more affordable and our government less corrupt.

This is what Trump and his special envoys are aiding. Trump got the message from America and doubled down on doing the opposite. He must be removed now, not in January.
Putin on Ukraine: I will destroy all your infrastructure until you agree. By next year, Ukraine won’t have any infrastructure left. Russia plans to hit Ukraine’s bridges, ports, railways and power stations, writes FT. 1/

So, let me flag a few things, traitor. 1. "European security architecture" is a phrase the Kremlin uses. We already have one: it's called NATO. 2. You conflate (as you always do) the victim of this war with the aggressor. The aggressor is Russia. 3. "Root causes" is Russian for "do it our way" and you know it. 4. Nothing a word about Russian withdrawal, the occupied territories, POWs or deported children. Weird. 5. Lavrov wrote this for you. 6. Fuck Putin, fuck Russia, and fuck you.
President Trump today advanced an important discussion with several European leaders about the need for a broader European security architecture that can help establish the conditions for lasting peace. Building on his leadership and the substantive work undertaken this week in Brussels with Ukraine, NATO, and our European partners, @SEPeaceMissions and I wanted to share some of the objectives guiding our ongoing discussions. For more than 30 years, Europe and Russia have struggled to establish a sustainable security framework. Decades of mistrust, competing security concerns, and the devastating consequences of this war make this an extraordinarily difficult challenge, but one that is essential to lasting peace. Our objective is to develop practical arrangements that address the security concerns of all sides, reduce the risk of future conflict, and create a more stable and predictable security environment. We are exploring five principal goals: permanent security consultations, reliable crisis communications, greater military transparency, reciprocal measures to reduce escalation risks, and an enduring framework for long-term European security and stability. Any arrangements must fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independent decision-making of every nation. Each country will retain authority over its own security and alliances, and no country would have a veto over another’s sovereign choices. NATO will remain central to European collective defense, and this initiative would build upon existing institutions and commitments. We will continue consultations through the Shell Bay format with Ukraine, NATO, the EU, and our European partners, expanding engagement to ensure that all relevant perspectives and ideas are considered. We will also engage Russia as part of the peace negotiations. Next week in Abu Dhabi, the United States will convene the first trilateral peace discussions with Ukraine and Russia since February. All parties remain intensely engaged in preparing for substantive and productive negotiations. We will consult closely with our European partners on the sidelines and, if progress is made, aim to move toward a broader multilateral format with their direct participation. These ideas continue to evolve, and we welcome thoughtful input. Creating the right structure will be critical to ending this war and transitioning from conflict toward conditions that make possible a durable peace. This is difficult, detailed work. There are no easy solutions. But the opportunity to help end this devastating war and build a foundation for a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous Europe for generations to come makes it a challenge well worth undertaking. We will see how these discussions develop and continue working intensively with all parties toward President Trump’s objective of a comprehensive and lasting peace.

Why are Americans tolerating this?
Two days after American voters attempted to take back Congress, Russia made clear it still runs the White House.

America voted this regime done. Jared Kushner is under investigation and yet is doubling down on harming the US and Europe and aiding Russia. We cannot wait until Jan while this is happening now.
Jared Kushner seems to be saying here that the United States is prepared to put NATO's military presence in Eastern Europe on the negotiating table as part of a deal to end the war in Ukraine. It means that that Putin's long-standing demands to demilitarise NATO's eastern flank could become part of the bargaining. This has been coming for some time. Russia has demanded restrictions on NATO's military presence in Central and Eastern Europe for years. And when Steve Witkoff met Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg last month, he said, according to Putin, that discussions about a new European security architecture should be part of the agenda. This is alarming for Poland and eastern flank countries. They will be asking what Washington might actually be prepared to concede in negotiations with Moscow. Poland is currently negotiating with Washington over a permanent American military base on its territory.

I would like to see this attempt by Trump exposed to the world as propaganda. He needs to be removed from office now. There was no Ukraine presence in the Oval; it is all meaningless. Europe has NATO and no one has diplomacy with Putin who is murdering civilians daily.
In the White House, Trump met with a representative of the russian terrorist state and refused to meet the representative of Ukraine. Trump works for Putin. He doesn't work for Americans.
