Go here before 11/23/26👊➡️engage.wdfw.wa.gov/DomesticA… Comment on Washington F&W proposal to amend the rule WAS 220-440-080 (kill wolves attacking livestock) The amendment will change to much better rule for the wolves by requiring ranchers to follow the rule to bury dead livestock or parts of them.

.@potus @GOP @Interior "Shamefully overturning a common-sense 2024 Biden administration ban, this rule change is nothing more than a corrupt political gift to cowardly right-wing trophy hunters at the direct expense of American wildlife and public safety."
Absolutely indefensible. Utterly inexcusable. In a sickening roll back of basic wildlife protections, a cruel new rule by the Trump regime officially grants trophy hunters the legal authority to bait and execute black and brown bears across millions of acres of Alaska’s national preserves. This isn't hunting — it is a point-blank slaughter. By allowing hunters to lure these magnificent animals with piles of high-calorie human foods like bacon grease, doughnuts, and meat scraps, the Trump regime has turned our protected public lands into personal execution chambers for wealthy hobbyists. This pathetic, lazy practice creates an extreme safety hazard by deliberately conditioning wild bears to associate humans with food, spiking the risk of aggressive encounters and putting park visitors in direct danger. Our national preserves belong to the public, not to the special interests of people who need a pile of junk food just to kill a bear at close range.

Do wolves still need Congress? Congress’s approval is 10%, while ESA support still tops 75% nationwide. H.R. 845 & 9171 would strip Gray Wolves’ protections & block court review, a threat Dr. Kareiva explores in his latest substack, Peter & the Wolves: bit.ly/4jUvojh

No wolf was killed in the hunting areas of Montana or Wyoming. I am glad. May this trend continue.

State wolf plans shape wolves’ lives, but few people read them. Team Wolf’s 2026 State Wolf Management Report Card grades 10 states on 12 questions, with a source behind every score. Explore and share it this Wolf Awareness Week: teamwolf.org/report-card

I have and all my representatives in CT totally support the ESA. Sadly, not all in this nation do.

They are the cleaning crew of the forest. If you take them away the balance is disturbed!

This #WolfAwarenessWeek, urge Congress to defend the ESA. Trump’s order puts Gray and Mexican Wolf protections at more risk, but the House already passed a Gray Wolf delisting bill, while a Mexican Wolf bill awaits a floor vote. Send a letter to your reps: teamwolf.org/take-action

Good news. No wolf was killed in designated Hunt Areas of Montana or Wyoming on 10/21/26. I wonder the snow on the ground had melted away.

“Nothing but respect,” Blaise Ballantyne wrote beside the Yellowstone wolf he killed. WMU 313 closed Sept. 25. The photo posted Oct 18. Killed there after closure? Reported? @MontanaFWP must answer. If Yellowstone’s wolves aren’t safe, no wolves are safe: TeamWolf.org/take-action
