Very sad news about BioWare. One of my favourite studios back in the day. But for the nth time: if you cost too much, carry too many staff and take too long then you are pre-dead. Ubisoft, BioWare, Bungie the list goes on. The teams and work style that built them has been lost.
Teams grew to 3X and 4x the size to make very similar games in twice the time. Over management sapped creativity and agency from teams. Work from home let a percentage of the team hide from work and killed team culture. Bloat settled in to replace innovation.

Who is the sadist who decided to make the only difference between a zero and a capital letter O on passport identification numbers the width of the circle? Who? I need names.
You would be appalled by how much game coverage by streamers is just bought coverage. Appalled.
The fact that people are charging for coverage is baffling to me.
To add to this: if someone covers your game because they were paid to do so, that's reflected in what they say and how they act. It's coverage, but it's not worthwhile. And if their audience isn't relevant to your game, you might as well make a fire pit with your cash.
If someone loves your game enough to cover it without payment or anything from you, that's the type of UGC you want. If they go to the effort to do it just because they can, that's passion for YOUR game that others will feel when they see it. And that's contagious.
This abomination must be destroyed root and branch! Find those responsible and ban them from all sport forever.
