This story is insane. How this can happen in America in the year 2026 & without any accountability is infuriating. I hope this story goes more than viral.. not just to get justice for Lily, but to get justice for Lily’s family & the community of Glenview for the DA’s sheer incompetence & clear indifference to the citizens they’re meant to serve & tax accordingly.
High School sophomore Lilly Bova was enjoying spring break in Chicago's family-friendly suburb, Glenview, when on a Saturday morning she died after being shot in her own bed. Her mom, Christie Maga, says her daughter was murdered, and claims she knows who did it. But nearly seven months later, no one has been charged.
Oh Brooke 💔.. you were a light & such an inspiration on this world. You deserved better, as do all who battle this cruel disease.
I remember finding her content at one of the lowest points in my life (to date) soon after she was diagnosed.. which seems like a mere speck compared to her hardships. Her grace, courage & strength were astonishing. She didn’t stop living.. until the very end.

481 votes • Final resultsSomething | learned a couple years back is that pollsters will use certain public figures to assess baselines for favorability polls. One example was a poll done by YouGov earlier this year from which everyone tried to incorrectly leverage the data in an attempt to slight Tucker Carlson — while a stupid & failed attempt by the narrative critters, you’ll notice the only true person, amongst many figures, including Taylor Swift & other beloved celebrities, that was seen as favorable amongst those polled was Dolly Parton with a whopping +70%.. hampered primarily by younger adults who gave a neutral or unknown response.
The next most favorable figure trailed by 20 points.

Part 1/ — It doesn’t make any sense. Below is the raw poll. Included therein, they asked about a plethora of public figures & their perception of them. Attached is a summation of some of the primary ones, but there were more. As noted, Dolly Parton has the highest favorability 🤭. Followed by Obama & then George Bush. Tucker Carlson has a low favorability rating, but 45% of those polled either didn’t have an opinion or didn’t know him. 19% of those polled didn’t even know who Bibi was. CNN then somehow tried to use the results of this sampling to draw some strange comparison between Trump & Tucker. There is not a polling question that compares the 2 of them.
BUT they ignored a WHOLE lot.
For one, the sample leaned left with 38% saying they would vote Dem if the primaries were held today, 35% Rep, 11% undecided, 15% wouldn’t vote, & 1% someone else.
Also, this same group was polled on various topics.
🚫 67% believe things are going in the wrong direction.
😖 Only 22% of Americans don’t feel some form of frustration over Trump’s foreign policy, with 17% feeling a moderate amount, 13% a lot, & 32% a great deal.

This is shocking: the House Rules Committee just blocked a vote on stripping the Save Our Bacon Act from the farm bill.
The SOB Act, buried deep in the farm bill, would wipe out state bans on pork from crated pigs, condemning millions to a lifetime in gestation crates.
We were getting very close to having the votes to pass Rep. Luna’s bipartisan amendment to strip the SOB Act from the bill on the floor of the House.
Then pork industry lobbyists got to work. Behind closed doors, they got Rules Committee leadership to stop a vote entirely and protect the SOB Act from the scrutiny it can’t survive.
The only option now is to kill the whole rotten farm bill. Please call your representatives at (202) 225-3121 and tell them to vote NO.

NEW: American Nathan Martin wins the closest Los Angeles Marathon in race history, beating Kenya’s Michael Kimani Kamau by just 00.01 seconds.
Martin was seen chasing down Kamau at the end of the race.
“I made an actual move five miles out… when I saw no one else was picking up the pace. I decided I needed to push,” the 36-year-old said.
