Compton Is More Receptive Than Hollywood

The repent of your sins believer always has to move the goalpost when you call them out on it. They “repented of their sins” and “gave their life to Jesus.” They are always nice to everyone since their conversion, they don’t get too drunk on the weekend anymore, they try not to check out their coworkers jiggling ass when she walks by. Ultimately they think they’re saved because they have the “fruit of a changed life” but God’s standard is perfection and their trust is in their own works. Jesus will say to them “I never knew you” as they boast of their wonderful works on judgment day

Isaiah 55:12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

The thief on the cross didn’t love Jesus, he didn’t even repent of his sins or make an apology. Whatever he did to be saved is all we need to do - call upon Jesus to receive salvation
