Every kind word said about Stosh is true. Months would go by, but each time he'd call me to do show, it was like no time had passed. (He'd even call early so we could chat.) What a gift he had for connecting with you.
Heartbroken for Kelly, their kids, and all who knew him. 😢

Awful news about a really good man. Loved getting texts or calls from him over the years. Truly beloved by his colleagues. Thinking of his family and friends. RIP Stosh

I’m stunned and gutted to find out Stosh is gone. He was such a wonderful human. And incredible in a variety of increasingly-important roles through the years at @ESPNRadio.
He was calm when it required it, he’d fire you up when you required that, too. He rooted for you, rooted for his people. And god he loves his family. Talked about them all the time. Counted down the days to vacations with them, to whenever his older kids were coming home to visit. I’m thinking about them tonight. So truly heartbroken for their loss.

I've been silent all day on this because I needed the space to find the words about Stosh Cienki.
What a wonderful human being. He had the most infectious laugh. I remarked to a colleague today, "I'm sad I'll never get to hear him laugh again." Stosh had such a passion for what he did. He encouraged all of us to be ourselves. Whenever I would be ranting and rambling in a break and we were laughing over it, he brought it right to air for us. He made us love our jobs the way he did. He was one of one in the industry.
Stosh was the first person at ESPN to ever reach out to me to guest on a show with @ColemanESPN. I was so excited that he thought of me. When I started at ESPN, he made me feel like I was there for years. He made me better every time we worked together. Whenever it was me & @Ianfitzespn, the three of us were out of control and could not stop laughing together. He let us go off the rails in the best way possible! I never left a show with Stosh without smiling and feeling like that was some of the best work we've done.
Whenever I made a mistake, he always gave me a hard time about it in a way that made me feel like I was learning, not being chastised. He brought the best out in me and I'm forever grateful.
I'm forever going to miss him. I'm always going to be able to hear his voice in my ear. And I'll never forget his laugh that was joy for the soul! @ESPNRadio won't be the same without you. I'm gutted and heartbroken for his wife, Kelly Ann, and their children. Much love always, Stosh. Rest in peace, my friend. 💔🕊️🙏🏽

A sad sad day in Bristol. The first mentor I had at ESPN. The guy who was kind and always in your corner pouring in to you. Taught the building how to handle the medium and create content no matter how silly. A loss to the pillars of ESPN radio❤️

This one hurts. Stosh loved the world of sports radio, the Chiefs and most of all his family. A great man taken away far too soon. May he RIP 🙏

Broke my heart hearing the news today. Stosh was an absolute pro’s pro and just a great person. From giving me tips on how to produce talk radio or advice for booking guests he always made sure to be a good mentor. Praying for his family and the ESPN family. He will be missed.

One of my favorite @ESPNRadio segments I've ever been apart of is me, @BubbaTheGlue, @ZaslowShow & @KLVsays trying to figure out bowling scoring. Stosh, an expert bowler, came in studio with pen and paper and showed us how it was done. He was an industry staple and a good person.

I used to work with Stosh on Spain and Fitz and he taught me how to prepare your host for a show and the benefits of being overly prepared. Stosh was a great radio producer but a even better man, rest in peace big fella 🕊️🙏🏾

This is tragic. Stosh was an institution at @ESPNRadio. I only had the chance to work with him a handful or so times, but his preparation, passion for radio, attentiveness and just general qualities as a human were second to none. Read all the QTs ⬇️ from friends and colleagues..

Oh, man -- shocked and saddened to hear of this sudden passing. Stosh was a total pro and would reach out to book for Bay Area sports hits on ESPN radio over the years ... always a friendly and solid presence. Condolences to his family ❤️
