The San Diego Padres have a seriously talented bullpen, having 4 relief pitchers with a 109 or higher PDS+ score: 1. Adrian Morejon-117.7 (2nd) 2. Mason Miller-116.6 (3rd) 3. Bradgley Rodriguez-109.7 (18th) 4. David Morgan-109.1 (21st) To put it into perspective, only 3 other teams have 2 relief pitchers with a 109 or higher score. The link on my pinned tweet will allow you to see the whole list. #Padres #MLB #SanDiego #ForTheFaithful

PDS+ measures three categories that define elite pitching-Missing bats, command, and limiting hard contact. PDS+ is measured like other Plus stats, using 100 has the league average, however, is calculated with an average of 3 averaged Z-scores. Heres are a PDS+ score could be interpreted: 116-120+: Elite 112-115-Excellent 106-111: Very good 102-105: Above average 99-101: Average 98-95: Below average 94-90: Poor 89-85 and below: Very Poor Starting pitchers must have faced 150+ batters to qualify, whereas relievers must have faced 60+ batters to qualify.

The 2026 MLB Trade Deadline is just over a week away. Here’s how every single team should handle the deadline, starting with the AL East: Orioles: Sell off expiring contracts -Trevor Rogers -Andrew Kittredge Take offers on: -Adley Rutschman -Yennier Cano The Orioles are not out of the race yet, but their rotation and bullpen are not playoff worthy. Trevor Rogers has been great recently, and with a tight starting pitching market, they should cash in. Red Sox: Buy -Catcher -Second Baseman -Backend bullpen arm The Red Sox got hot, however, their lineup still has holes. They need an everyday catcher, and with the minor league starting pitching talent to get Shea Langeliers, a Ryan Jeffers or a Tyler Stephenson might be more realistic. Luis Arraez would be a good option at second, and a backend reliever like Adrian Morejon could bolster the Red Sox bullpen to be a dangerous threat come playoff time. Yankees: Buy -Catcher -Bullpen A potential rival bidding war, the Yankees need a catcher, and Ryan Jeffers would be a perfect fit in the Bronx. Rumors have been swirling the Yankees are very interested in Mason Miller, and I believe they should make that trade happen, however, a Luke Weaver reunion seems much more attainable. Rays: Buy - Starting pitcher -Second baseman This is the start of a great Rays team to come for many years, having one of the best rosters, and farm systems in the league. If there’s anytime to make a splash, it would be this season, trading for both Tarik Skubal and Gleyber Torres, making them potentially the scariest AL team. Blue Jays: Retool Trade off -Kevin Gausman -Jesus Sanchez -Jeff Hoffman Trade for -Controllable starting pitching An ugly year for the Blue Jay, they should ship off their older, and expiring contracts, while aiming for younger controllable arms near MLB ready. With a year and a half left of Jeff Hoffman, a swap with the White Sox, Acquiring RHP Mason Adams could make sense. #MLB #MLBTradedeadline #Orioles #Birdland #Baltimore #RedSox #DirtyWater #Boston #Yankees #Repbx #NewYork #Rays #TampaBay #Toronto #BlueJays

The Angels select Jarren Advincula-2B Age: 21  B/T: L/R  H/W: 6’2/195 Hit: 55  Power: 40  Run: 60  Arm: 45  Field: 55  Floor: 45  Ceiling: 50  Overall: 50 The leader in hits in NCAA Division I baseball, Jarren Advincula has some of the best bat to ball skills in the draft. With consistent contact, Advincula works counts and rarely whiffs, however, does tend to chase outside of the zone, leading to weakly hit ground balls from the poor swing decisions. Advincula doesn’t hit many home runs, and often hits the ball on the ground, but has shown line drive power, giving him upside for doubles and triples as he is a good runner. Although he has a solid glove, his arm does lack strength, projecting him to stay at second base throughout his career. With similarities to Luis Arraez, Advincula does run a lot better making it a possibility of being a bigger threat with the weak ground balls.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Angels

The Pirates select Aiden Ruiz-SS Age: 19  B/T: S/S  H/W:  5’10/160 Hit: 55  Power: 40  Run: 55  Arm: 55  Field: 65  Floor: 55  Ceiling: 55  Overall: 50 One of the best defenders in this class, Aiden Ruiz has an extremely talented glove at the shortstop position. He has great range with plus plus hands, as well as a great IQ for the position. He’s a good runner, as he can swipe a bag well. As for his bat, the switch hitter has a contact oriented approach where he aims for bat-to-ball skills rather than power. Ruiz doesn’t have problems with velocity, as he can turn on them as well take it to the backside. I don’t think Aiden Ruiz will be able to grow into too much power, but with the elite glove with good speed along with his talented bat, I believe Aiden Ruiz is a sneaky player in this draft.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Pirates

The Nationals select Chase Brunson-OF Age: 20  B/T: R/R  H/W: 6’3/200 Hit: 55  Power: 50  Run: 55  Arm: 55  Field: 55  Floor: 50  Ceiling: 60  Overall: 50 A sneaky talented hitter, Chase Brunson has a nice swing from the right side of the plate. He makes good contact while having fast hands and a fast bat speed, being able to turn on inside pitches. He also has a more disciplined approach at the plate, working counts and taking walks, however he can make poor swing decisions. Something to note in his game is his strikeout numbers have increased every year, not an ideal stat to see, especially in the BIG 12. Brunson has a solid glove in the outfield, having the potential to stick in center, but will play nicely in the corner.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Nationals

The Dodgers select Bo Lowrance-3B Age: 18  B/T: L/R  H/W: 6’5/200 Hit: 55  Power: 55  Run: 50  Arm: 55  Field: 45  Floor: 55  Ceiling: 65  Overall: 55 Bo Lawrence is an intriguing prospect. Standing at 6 '5 and weighing in at 200 pounds, Lawrence has a projectible frame that could see him being a 25-30 homerun bat, once he starts to lift the ball in the air more frequently. He has a good approach at the plate, showing good bat to ball skills. His glove at the hot corner is questionable, as he will have to make improvements, but his arm has the strength to stick.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Dodgers

The Blue Jays select Cole Carlon-LHP Age: 21 B/T: L/L  H/W: 6’5/230 Fastball: 60  Slider: 70  Curveball: 50  Changeup: 50  Control: 50  Floor: 60  Ceiling: 70  Overall: 60 The 6 '5 southpaw from Arizona State, Cole Carlon has potential to be an ace in MLB. He features a 4 pitch mix, showcasing a fastball, slider, curveball, and a changeup. His fastball can be dominant, sitting 93-96 mph, but can also get up to 98 frequently, and did touch 100.7 in a start this spring. His slider is elite, probably the best in the class, showing hard and sharp breaks, sitting in the mid to high 80’s. Carlon has a ton of confidence with his slider, having exceptional results against lefties and righties. He uses the slider both to get ahead in counts while also putting away hitters with it often. His curveball is solid, as it has good north to south depth, but he does have problems locating it at times. His changeup has good potential, which he throws with a good fade, but doesn’t always get the good shape when throwing it, sometimes coming out flat.  With more consistent command and feel from the curveball and changeup, Cole Carlon would have a 4 pitch mix of all plus pitches. The upside Carlon possesses puts him near the top of my board, which I believe he can be a dominant pitcher in MLB.  #MLB #MLBDraft #BlueJays

The Rockies select Logan Reddemann-RHP Age: 21  H/W: 6’2/185 Fastball: 55  Curveball: 45  Slider: 50  Cutter: 55  Changeup: 50  Control: 60  Floor: 50  Ceiling: 60  Overall: 50 Logan Reddemann was UCLA’s ace as the Friday night starter, where he was having an excellent year until he came across arm fatigue at the end of April, ending his season. The right-hander showcases a 5 pitch mix, featuring his fastball which sits 93-95 mph, while topping out at 97-99 mph. His fastball has very good rise and run, playing extremely well at the top of the zone, however, struggles getting swing and misses while also getting hit decently around when he misses middle and lower in the zone. His cutter plays extremely well with his fastball, speeding up the hitters bat as the pitch has similar shape to the fastball out of the hand until it cuts in at hitters at a slower speed, sitting around 87-91 mph. Reddemann also shows off a changeup that has good depth, which he throws to both lefties and righties that sits around 83-85 mph. He also has a mediocre curveball, and showed a new slider/sweeper that has potential.  Logan Reddemann has upside to be a successful starter in MLB, however, I think there are some question marks in his game that may prevent him from being a first round pick talent.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Rockies

The Rockies select Daniel Jackson-C Age: 21  B/T: R/R  H/W: 6’2/200 Hit: 50  Power: 65  Run: 50  Arm: 55  Field: 50  Floor: 45  Ceiling: 65  Overall: 50 The power upside Daniel Jackson has is special, however, his hit tool is holding him back. The right-handed hitter absolutely mashes baseballs, especially against fastballs. Jackson is a fly ball hitter, which is a huge plus for his game. Something Daneil Jackson needs to improve on is his ability to reconginzie and hit breaking, and offspeed pitches, often chasing these pitches. Behind the dish, Jackson has a strong arm with a good pop time, and has improved, making him at least an average defender. Daniel Jakcson is a tough player to rank. He demolished SEC pitching, however, the struggles against non fastballs do have me worried.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Rockies

The Yankees select Hunter Dietz-LHP Age: 21  B/T: R/L  H/W: 6’6/235 Fastball: 55  Curveball: 60  Slider: 60  Cutter: 60  Changeup: 45  Control: 50  Floor: 55 Ceiling: 65  Overall: 55 The southpaw ace out of Arkansas, Hunter Dietz has a 5 pitch mix, shining a good fastball with great secondaries to back it up. His fastball sits in the mid 90’s but can top at 97 mph, having good ride and command with the pitch. His slider has great movement sitting in the low 80’s with a curveball that has great north to south movement that plays well off the slider. Dietz also throws a great cutter that tunnels the fastball well, getting lots of out in front swing and misses. He also throws a changeup that barely gets used. Hunter Dietz commands the ball well while also being able to use his 4 primary pitches with confidence for strikes. #MLB #MLBDraft #Yankees

The Cardinals select Tegan Kuhns-RHP Age: 21  B/T: S/R  H/W: 6’3/189 Fastball: 65  Curveball: 60  Slider: 50  Changeup: 45 Control: 60  Floor: 55  Ceiling: 65  Overall: 55 Tegan Kuhns hasn’t been getting the hype he deserves. The right handed hitter throws a plus plus fastball that can touch 98 mph with elite rise, getting up to 19-20 inches of IVB, working great in the upper quadrant of the zone, however, when he misses low and middle, hitters seem to read it much better. He pairs that with a curveball that has great depth, sitting in the high 70’s. His slider is another solid pitch, sitting in the low 80’s, the pitch has solid depth, but not getting as many swings and misses as one would hope. His changeup is currently a work-in-progress, as the pitch has good fade, but doesn’t throw it constantly. A huge positive that I love about Tegan Kuhns is his ability to shut down walks. This spring with Tennessee, Kuhns had a 4.7% walk rate in his 81 innings pitched, making him one of the most efficient collegiate pitchers. If this draft class wasn’t stacked with pitchers, I believe Tegan Kuhns would be a much higher pick, however, with his questionable repertoire, he isn’t getting the love as one would expect from a pitcher of his caliber.    #MLB #MLBDraft #Cardinals #STLCards

The Giants select Carson Bolemon-LHP Age: 19  B/T: R/L  H/W: 6’4/215 Fastball: 65  Curveball: 60  Slider: 60  Changeup: 55  Control: 60  Floor: 60  Ceiling: 65  Overall: 60 A prep pitcher with already 4 plus pitches, Carson Bolemon should be a no doubt first round talent. Bolemon shows off a fastball, curveball, slider, and a changeup. His fastball sits in the low 90’s but has touched 96 with great metrics averaging around 19 inches of IVB and 7 inches of horizontal break. I love the upside on his fastball because as he gets older I believe the pitch will only get better. His curveball has great depth, sitting at 78-82 mph, and his other breaking ball being his slider sits in the low to mid 80’s has great sweeping action, working very well away from lefties, and backfoot to righties. Bolemon uses the kick changeup grip, throwing it in the mid 80’s, however, doesn’t use this pitch as often as the other three. A huge positive in Carson Bolemon’s game is his command. He has great confidence in where the ball is going, being able to throw any pitch for a strike at any point in the at bat. As for his mechanics, they are super clean and repeatable, always pitching out of the stretch. Carson Bolemon is in a small group of near perfect packaged prep pitchers, and with the consistency he brings to the table alongside his upside on all his pitches, wherever he lands in the draft will more than likely end up being a steal.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Giants #SFGiants

The Mariners select Ace Reese-3B Age: 21  B/T: L/R  H/W: 6’4/220 Hit: 50  Power: 65  Run: 40  Arm: 50  Field: 45  Floor: 50  Ceiling: 65  Overall: 55 Ace Reese has a great offensive profile as he consistently hits the ball with great exit velocities and has the ability to put it over the fence at any spot in the field, projecting to be a 25-30 home run bat. A huge reason I prefer Reese over some of the other power bats is he makes more quality contact.  He has a more mature approach than his strikeout numbers may suggest, as he is relatively patient and will walk often. Strikeouts will be in his game however, but I believe his hit tool will be solid enough in the pro’s to be a successful hitter. Ace Reese isn’t the best athlete, as he probably won’t stick at third base, more than likely transitioning to first base at some point in his career.  I am a big fan of Ace Reese’s offensive game, as he possesses some of the best power in the draft class, and with potential improvement of his hit tool, he can become one of the better bats from the 2026 draft class.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Mariners

The Cubs select Cade Townsend-RHP Age: 21  B/T: R/R  H/W: 6’1/185 Fastball: 55  Curveball: 60  Slider: 60  Cutter: 60  Changeup: 50  Control: 50  Floor: 60  Ceiling: 65  Overall: 55 Cade Townsend has a deep pitch mix, offering 4 plus pitches with a changeup/splitter in the works. His fastball sits 94-96 mph but can hit 98 with good rise, and although the pitch is effective, it can get hit around as well as whiffs being limited. His curveball is his best pitch, as he throws it with a 12-6 shape that just falls off the table, being his go-to putaway pitch. He also throws a slider in the upper 80’s with good depth as well as a cutter in the high 80’s to low 90’s, which both of these pitches work well for Townsend. He throws a changeup/splitter type pitch that has a good fade on it. Cade Townsend does a good job tallying up strikeouts while also not allowing too many free passes, however, does tend to throw poor quality strikes at times.  The repertoire for Cade Townsend has great upside as well as a solid floor being a back-end MLB pitcher at worst in my eyes, making him a valuable top pick in this years’ draft.  #MLB #MLBDraft #Cubs #Chicago
