After a rocky first inning the Spartans mount a comeback in the 7th to beat Riverdale 7-5. Josh Norris goes the distance on the mound giving up 1 earned and striking out 8 while Charlie Pittman went 2-3 with a walk and a RBI. @RogerRogglynn
Great team win tonight vs the Holden Rockets. Ty Simmons led the charge throwing a complete game. Back at it tomorrow against the Hammond Tornadoes.

Successful head coach of a nearby D1 program rarely talks mechanics. Views almost every hitting prob as a timing/decision issue:
After a bad at bat-
“Were you early or late?”
“Did you swing at a good pitch to hit?”
Simple & effective way to make meaningful in game adjustments

Train On-Plane
The movement requirements of flat ground versus throwing off a mound are entirely different. So much so, they're essentially 2 different positions.
Make the first move On-Plane and give your arm no choice but to move faster.
