I played this game for an hour and my genuine opinion is this: It was very slow. I felt like the entire hour was an extremely elongated tutorial where the game playfully allowed me to engage on its terms. What I wanted: give me the chainsaw gun and allow me to kill everything. "But don't you want to emotionally engage with all of the characters and build a connection with them? There's a misunderstood black female lesbian and everything! We ticked every HR box!"
