Can voters be irrational? Yes. Can voters make mistakes? Clearly, yes. Do voters have REASONS for voting the way they do that politicians and pundits should try to understand? Yes.
Every ethnicity votes as one group and block except white people and then they blame on 2% Indian Americans and H1Bs (who can’t even vote).
Republicans need to unite their base (that includes Hindu Americans) before they pander to those who will NEVER vote D.
These Muslims seem obsessed with “having sec with a white women”
Vivek is married to an Indian Marian Hindu.

After DOGE, Elon came to a conclusion most people missed.
He tried to reform the state from the inside. He failed. And he said it plainly: the government can't fix its own deficit. Nobody in power actually wants to cut. The machine protects itself.
So he drew the only logical conclusion. If the state can't be reformed, there are only two ways this ends.
Either global bankruptcy. Debt keeps compounding, interest payments eat the budget, and the system collapses under its own weight.
Or robots. AI and robotics grow the economy so fast that the debt becomes manageable, and abundance makes the old fights over scarcity irrelevant.
Here's the part almost nobody sees.
For two centuries, capitalism has had a marketing problem. Its gains are real but slow and invisible. 2% growth a year doesn't feel like anything. Your life gets better over 30 years and you never connect it to the system that did it. Meanwhile, the left's promises feel immediate and concrete: a check, a subsidy, a benefit. That's why the left wins on promises even when it can't deliver them. Capitalism produces the wealth, socialism takes the credit.
Robots break that asymmetry.
When productivity doubles in a few years instead of a few decades, people will see it. Things get cheaper, services get better, opportunities appear, in real time. For the first time in history, people will connect capitalism and their rising standard of living directly, almost instantly. The causal chain becomes visible.
And that changes everything politically.
So there are two scenarios.
Scenario one: we stay in the current inertia. No breakthrough, or a breakthrough we regulate to death. The debt wins. Living standards stagnate, then fall. A frustrated electorate turns to whoever promises the most, and that pushes toward a hard collectivist left. But collectivism fails, as it always does. And when it fails, the most organized, most disciplined collectivist force left standing isn't the old left. It's radical Islamism. Bankruptcy, then communism, then something worse.
Scenario two: robots win. Abundance arrives, and it arrives visibly. The link between free enterprise and prosperity becomes obvious to everyone. And this is the key point: it becomes obvious to everyone, including the minorities the left was counting on. Because their long-term incentive is the same as everyone else's. A kid in the suburbs gains infinitely more from a booming, abundant West than from a bankrupt state handing out promises it can't keep. Abundance is the most powerful integration machine ever built.
That's the Western renaissance.
The West doesn't need to win the culture war by arguing. It needs to win it by delivering. And for the first time, it has the technology to deliver fast enough for people to notice.
The race isn't left vs right anymore. It's robots vs bankruptcy.

Charlie's loss was immense, whenever I hold my kids I feel heartache knowing his will grow up without their father at home, but even he could not have turned out the youth vote tonight. His college talks would have been bogged down with the war in Iran and cost of living.
I fear Americans can’t vote their way out of socialism but hopefully in two years Texans who stayed at home will come out to vote red

This is why I'm not dooming out for 2028. These are waste of time impeachments. The crypto stuff, the issues with legs... that is all going to be forsaken for show trials regarding issues Marxists value most. Not even close to despair time.

Democrats won and I guarantee they won’t pass anything relating to the Epstein files.

Trump crushed Kamala Harris in Texas in 2024 not only winning whites but picking up huge shades of latino votes — campaigning on mass deportations!
What people hate is the SERVILE war for Israel, the corruption, indifference to the economy, and cruel attitudes

Here is what I think happened on the Iran misadventure:
1) the proponents of regime change hoped and prayed that murdering the Ayatollah and IRGC leadership would result in a domestic uprising. But they’re pretty smart - and knew this was at best 50/50;
2) they thought that once the USA was knee deep in this business - they could drive Trump into a full blown war to effect ‘regime change.’ Boots on the ground. And they thought the American population would puppy-dog after them. This was deeply cynical - they thought they could manipulate public opinion into a war of choice, slow-walk them into something that no one wanted;
3) the American people are totally fatigued with Middle East nonsense - they want nothing to do with sandbox feuds over there. The war proponents underestimated the extent of opposition - and really don’t even care what people think, because they are monomaniacal about this;
4) no effort to sell this ‘war’ was even made. That actually shows that someone in the administration was using his brain, because it wasn’t a sale you could close. But that also meant that you couldn’t maintain this for long. The Bush administration sold us the Iraq war for the better part of a year - with lies and misinformation - but they at least thought public opinion mattered. The Trump administration made no effort, probably because they knew it was impossible;
5) for whatever reason Trump decided to proceed with a war that could only succeed if it was over in a couple weeks. It was a mistake, as was withdrawing from the Obama treaty - even if that wasn’t a good treaty. Because if you cannot gain American public opinion for a war, you cannot sustain it for long. And that means you cannot win the war if your enemy is prepared to hunker down and take punishment and wait you out;
6) I think all of this was predictable. You cannot engage in colonial style warfare, as though the USA were the sole superpower, if you cannot generate domestic support. That is the point people in the Trump administration should have known - and almost certainly did know, but rolled the dice anyway;
7) the upshot IMO is that the USA should only project power in its own hemisphere, and even that modestly. It should seek to reform domestically to be a stable republic - and not try so hard to force everyone into its mould. There is a lot to like about the USA - and making this place better, and showing it to the world, is better diplomacy than killing people in sneak attacks.

Young and middle aged people have known nothing but a series of national/global crisis since 2001. They've been waiting their turn for 25 years, and at this point, they don't give a damn about Iran.
