The thread was the short version.
The long one: brands built this game, the scammers just read the rules correctly.

Sharing with you quick investigation on your account on what you can do better to actually become a valuable brand ambassador.
So I stopped buying reach.
I build brand ambassadors instead.
Fewer people.
Longer terms.
They use the product, they get paid for consistency, and they grow with the brand instead of renting it out for a week.
4. Content-payment hunters
They sell posts, not outcomes.
Fine as a business. But it’s a media buy, and most firms price it like an acquisition channel.
Then act surprised when nothing converts.
3. Volume & Sales fakers
Inflated screenshots.
Overlapping date ranges.
Borrowed dashboards.
Common enough that I verify every volume/sale claim before a conversation goes any further.
Not as an exception. As step one.
2. Giveaway hunters
Audiences built on free capital.
Thousands of followers who showed up for a free account and leave the second it stops.
Nothing converts to a paying customer.
1. Bonus hunters
They hop from program to program collecting signing bonuses.
Loud during the paid window. Gone the day it ends.
Loyal to the incentive, never to the product.
Most crypto industry KOLs are not partners. They’re vendors with a referral link. (Not to mention, most of the industry is full of scammers)
I’ve assessed several hundred of them.
Here’s why I stopped signing KOLs and started building brand ambassadors instead 🧵
