How on earth do the practicalities of putting on a play take us by surprised every single time. Emails to theatres have been sent. Now a budget needs to be worked out. And let’s not forget casting!
When a writer’s self doubt comes into play it’s only natural but it’s a good thing when there is a good friend to both pick them up and give actual useful critique.
So I may have decided to rewrite the opening monologue of the play whilst sat here. Here is a very serene writing spot!! – at Ubud, Indonesia
Full read through of This Modern Love last Sunday. Really need to see it on its feet before can see how it works.

Just two more rehearsals until our friends at @brighton_little have their opening night for Beyond Therapy. Our writer @FayeJoWood is directing and she’s not yet broken the set so that’s an unexpected bonus. #clumsyisasclumsydoes

The sky outside is exactly as it would be in Infection! Who’s got a camera? Let’s film the play right here and now :) #apocalypse #REDSUN
As our writer goes into prod on a play she’s directing we’ve passed the new play to a trusted friend from another company for their opinion.
