"Deatstroke would have been the maain villain"
Plot details on Ben Affleck's cancelled ‘BATMAN’ film have been revealed:
• Deathstroke would be the main villain, dismantling Batman's life after thinking he killed his son
• Deathstroke would have killed Gordon & taken Alfred hostage
• Batgirl appeared, almost getting killed with Batman in one sequence
• The film's finale had a major showdown between Batman & Deathstroke inspired by a CGI fight sequence from ‘Batman: Arkham Asylum’

That period of time where Scott defeated mastermind and had his honeymoon with Maddy right before X-factor ruined everything 🥲
My boy deserved that happy ending
Reading the new mutants turned hellions arc and the dyanmic between Magneto and Warlock is so cute they care for eachother so much 😭😭😭
This image is awesome I just wish it ment something more than "Beyonder slop confrontation #28419847198923"
Crazy how in terms of quality and legacy OS, AF, UAF, and OV line up perfectly with Shrek 1, 2, 3, 4
1 - Passion proyect beloved by everyone
2- Franchise writing peak, conceptual peak
3 - A shell of it's former self made for money
4 - Divisive but good meta-ending
Replying to @dialecticalsaba
I agree with some criticisms but this just fells like
This issue is fantastic but not for the usual Claremont reasons it's not a perfect character work, an epic saga, or an inventive soap opera, this issue is an EVENT, one that will shape the history of X-men and mutantkind for ever, and it feels like it.
MAN ROGUE IS COOL
One of those moments that make you want to rip your shirt off and run intro a wall
Trying to figure out what was my favorite Batman comic reminded me that I pretty much like the villains more than bruce himself 😭😭😭
Still ALPD is my favorite Batman story
There is this era during Claremont's run where the character writing is still amazing and he is starting to explore more mature mutant-oppresion themes
But everything is interrupted by some bullshit like the Wraiths, Kulan Gath, or the beyonder and secret wars
SO ANNOYING
New mutants is such an inconsistent series
You go from the demon bear saga and the first appereance of Legion (PEAK) to Cloak and Dagger tie in plus Secret wars (SLOP FACTORY) tie ins in the span of 10 issues. It's hard to keep on reading at times
So I read this book writen by nobody
I have to say it's a bit fast paced at times it feels like a summary, like specially with Hal's relationship with the other Lanterns, Never the less it's a pretty good introduction to Hal and the mythos and a fun little arc.
