Ingenious and striking way of supporting plant growth @Battlesteads Hotel in Wark, Northumberland. Could be handy on allotments … Great to see the Hotel’s systems for sustainability and taste seasonal fruit & veg in the restaurant (TAMS volunteer on holiday!)

Why do people expect restaurants to just give food away?
And I mean at any point, never mind in the current economic climate….
If you order something that is or isn’t on the menu (as is the case here) it’s chargeable,
I don’t think that’s unreasonable

Speechless.
No VAT or Biz Rate support for Hospitality.
Corporation tax cuts are completely useless if businesses aren’t turning a profit, or worse, closed.
These announcements will now mean last orders for thousands of Hospitality businesses meaning mass redundancies.

Westminster Council objecting to Greggs serving hot food after 11pm, due to crime and disorder, is one of the most ridiculous decisions I've ever seen.
I've never seen anyone attacked by a sausage roll.

The weekly rise in costs within Hospitality is now completely unviable.
This means that in collecting VAT from the sector, the Treasury @RishiSunak have never had it so good.
If they really care about jobs/businesses, they urgently need to reduce VAT back to 12.5% levels.
