RIP but you can’t blame the keeper there. That tackle happens so often in football. It’s heartbreaking it’s ended this way

We got your back, New York!

Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

Is everyone in Naij still trying to raise in dollars? Or have they calmed down now? I was having this discussion at Moonshot last year

“Not sure why this was on the mainland”
OH BROTHER
Moonshot in Lagos.
High hopes as always but badly run, structured and on the day coordination was missing.
I hate to be critical - but probably the worst conference I’ve been to in a long time.
The venue was confusing. No clear direction about where you could and couldn’t go with your level of pass. Food organisation was terrible. Places that were supposed to be for higher pass holders anyone could enter.
Hours in traffic. Not sure why this was on the mainland. No more needs to be said.
Exhibits - waste of money imo. As the venue was confusing it was hard finding the booths you wanted to.
Saw the pitch competition where a friend of mine was on stage. No clicker, slides were not displaying on the screen, no follow up questions, no count down timer.
Nonetheless, it’s positive to see more builders in the space and it was great to catch up with some old friends CC: @Nonso_Obiefule
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
BREAKING: Anthropic is now expected to receive a "high junk" rating from major credit rating agencies after its IPO, which could come as soon as November, per FT.
Details include:
1. Blackstone has told investors that Anthropic likely will not receive an investment-grade rating immediately after its IPO
2. Blackstone is working with banks that stumped up financing on selling the debt on to other investors
3. An investment-grade rating is "central" to Anthropic's ability to continue its AI buildout
4. The company says it expects to spend over $800 billion on computing infrastructure between now and 2045
Debt markets are increasingly in the spotlight as AI funding becomes less abundant.
