I understand why @esportsjatt hated that DK Baron but it prevented T1 from snowballing Soul->Baron and ending. Yes it was always going to get stalled out while they lost soul but t1 had a significant item advantage at that point. sacking ksante for baron and buying 5 more minutes to hope for a chance at an elder flip opened the door up for t1 to blow the elder fight
The amount of people directly upset at novig for removing american odds really shows how much they’ve successfully tapped into the normie market. bullish on novig
Matt Zylbert wouldn’t take a plus money bet even if it bought him points

Take the offer and potentially lose $100 on something they have no control/edge on? Why? Because of a phantom concept called “plUSsssS eeVvVVWW”?
This math bullshit needs to stop. Kid could easily lose 5 coin flips in a row and be down $500, but but but smart “EV” betting 🤡

Unfortunately it seems datagrift completely killed the price on so many of my guys this week (particularly some of the placements on Putnam, Ghim, and others), and I would have bet spineless Cantlay at 24/1 again this week if he didn’t WD
I’ve been checking out SBS this week since I’m out of slow draft hell on UD. Fun, unique format and lots of things that make it different. Their web app is very functional and they reimburse any card fees through free drafts. It’s trying to push the envelope of what best ball can be. They’re pumping out tons of free drafts and unique promos, highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already. For me, between paying high DK rake and tons of free drafts and promos on SBS, it’s a total no brainer.
Thinking about writing up a short post on where I think there is value on the board in this format, coming soon
I’m not sponsored or anything, but if you are new to SBS / Banana Fantasy you can use my code for some cool stuff:

Egregiously wrong claim that you have a better chance of winning the lottery than BBM. Even if you want to disregard skill, a max-entered player would be expected to win around 1 in 4,482 (150/672,336), which is ~65,000x better than Powerball (1/~300,000,000)
Even a single BBM bullet is 435x more likely to win than the lottery. Stay safe out there and make sure your best ball quant isn’t 5 orders of magnitude off with their format math
Bryson should absolutely be penalized for this, it’s a clear rule violation. Yes, other players (Wyndham Clark comes to mind) have gotten away with similar infractions before. But the right conclusion isn’t that Bryson should get a pass from the R&A because PGA Tour officials aren’t strict enough. It’s that those other players should have been penalized as well. I really hope the PGAT officials are more consistent with the rules regarding things of this nature going forward.
I hope the fake best ball sharps flexing ADP CLV in July know that having over 25% Brandon Aiyuk cancels out any CLV you might have accrued elsewhere
