Couldn’t have said it better…
Being 5-1 is great and all, but the pressure is on #Bills GM Brandon Beane. (This is a long post but bear with me, it all needs to be said...)
I don’t understand how Beane has spent so much money, so many resources and so much draft capital on the defense year after year, only for it to look maybe the worst it ever has in his 9 years?
I’m not going to say that he’s bad at drafting because he does have some nice hits. My problem with Beane’s drafts is that there are not enough high-impact players at the top of each draft class.
Look at this year’s draft. Two out of Beane’s top 3 picks have hardly made an impact this season. You have T.J. Parker who is a 4th OLB and sure, he looked pretty good on Sunday, but that was the first game that he played more than 20 snaps all season, and it was mainly because Bradley Chubb went out with an injury. Jude Bowry is a developmental OT who has been inactive every week, he was hurt over the summer and looked nowhere near ready to be on the field when he was healthy.
It is mind-boggling to me that Beane drafted another rotational EDGE rusher over NT Kayden McDonald, LB Jacob Rodriguez or even WR Denzel Boston. All three of those positions had an easier route for getting on the field and making a consistent impact this season. We hope that some of his other picks will start to have more of a role (Bell, KEO and Kilgore), but if we expand out on this year’s draft class, 2/10 rookies are making a consistent impact right now, and one of them is a punter… That is just nowhere near good enough in a Super Bowl year.
Beane then tries to mask these draft misses by overpaying mid free agents, specifically the WR room with Curtis Samuel and Joshua Palmer. Why do you think the offense looks out of sync without D.J. Moore? That’s a direct result of the GM being allergic to drafting WRs high in the draft and then not being able to develop them over the years.
Even Bradley Chubb - as much as I liked the signing at the time - he’s signed for 3 years at $14.5M per year which is going to keep blocking T.J. Parker’s growth. (Not to mention he only has 1.5 sacks so far.) I like both players, but again, I do not like the asset management.
And finally, I don’t understand the depth in the back 7 on defense. You knew that C.J. Gardner-Johnson was going to be a wild card, and you chose to insulate him with Damar Hamlin and Geno Stone? Hopefully Kilgore hits… Speaking of insulation, the underwhelming LB room was insulated with just a Day 3 rookie and Joe Andreessen? And you deemed CB as the biggest need this offseason but then went into the season with just 3 boundary corners, and two of them are 23 years or younger? As much as I like that Tre White is back, let’s be real… having to call him after 6 weeks is not a good sign.
Beane can still salvage this season by making some big changes over these next couple of weeks, but he CANNOT flop at the deadline like he did last year or else he needs to be gone.

This content is wild to me. Quit dreaming. Content is great but when you make videos like this you sell a dream to fans that isnt reality
Beane is researching golf clubs to aim at your head.
He isnt worried about the team or you or Josh Allen. He is Hal Steinbrenner

Could you imagine a #Bills defensive line featuring Deone Walker, Ed Oliver and DeForest Buckner, #BillsMafia?
Excellent breakdown here for all those pushing the Beane positivity propaganda today (funded by Beane I assume), this sums up so much just perfectly as to why he’s a bottom-tier GM and a SNAKE OIL SALESMAN:
Funny you would ask that amazing question actually…
How about a lack of outside receiving talent losing us the last 3 playoff games we’ve lost and he still hasn’t fixed it
How about 93% of the draft capital used the last two years and 64% since 2022 being on defense and they’re bottom 3
How about claiming an aging veteran who doesn’t wanna be here causing you to lose a key depth piece and that directly causing you to lose a divisional round playoff game
How about watching the AFC climate flip on its head in real time seeing the Bengals, Chiefs, and Ravens may not make the playoffs and sitting on your hands at the trade deadline
How about re-signing a TE, letting your home grown pro bowl first round LB walk in free agency, and then immediately drafting another TE
How about 2/17 first and second round picks becoming top 10 at their position.
How about signing a 58 year old LB to a 6 year 760 million dollar deal and then looking shocked when he gets injured.
How about watching a team win a Super Bowl then criticizing them for it just long enough for their roster to outclass yours just one season later.
“Brandon there’s a number of big names out there on teams that are about to start a fire sale, who are we gonna g—…Brandon?……Brandon?!”
Beane:
“Dad…I see in 2023 Brandon Beane could have drafted Hall of Fucking Famer Puka Nacua in the 5th round but selected Justin Shorter instead…how did Shorter do?”
Me:
Budda would’ve been cool but did you see Palmer running those routes pre-game against Vegas? Can’t replace that!
There’s 1 ! He will probably start against the Ravens. Next up, Spector, Milano, Dane Jackson, Darnell Savage, and Duke Williams…
