My Lions draft take. Let's hope for a future starting OT and an actual pass rusher.

The #Lions have signed former New Orleans Saints 1st-round DE Payton Turner to a contract. He was in Dallas last season but did not play.

The sooner you accept that Ratledge is the starting C, the more sense it'll make for the Lions because I think they'll get a starting OG either way. FA and draft C class stinks

Sad for D-Mo but got some draft picks out of him. Scruggs stinks out loud and shouldn't be counted as a starting IOL.

Compensation update: The Texans are sending OL Juice Scruggs, a 4th-rounder and a 7th-rounder to Detroit for David Montgomery.

There are some delusional Lions fans in the Lions subreddit thinking Scruggs is good. He stinks. He got benched on a bad OL!

I still think Ratledge would be the starting C next season. He’s better than any of the C in this year draft

I barely looked at the draft this year but let Bain fall to the Lions bc of his short arms

Just in: Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit have agreed to a multi-team deal that sends Jaden Ivey and Mike Conley Jr. to the Bulls and Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric to the Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Detroit also receives a 2026 first-round protected swap from Minnesota.

I mean meh. I get the hire stylistically wise but that makes the TeSlaa trade up look worse in hindsight with this hire. I expect the Lions to look to upgrade TE2 and TE3. If they can have Brock Wright at TE3 while finding a TE2 who can block, I can see the vision

Sources: The Detroit Lions are working to finalize a deal to hire former Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing as their next offensive coordinator.

McDaniel wasn’t going to be an OC. Too many HC job openings to contend with.

#Steelers OC Arthur Smith has been requested by the #Lions for their OC position, source said. Smith is still in the mix for multiple HC job and has significant coordinator interest.

Happy that Stafford got the 1st team nod. It’s usually a precursor of winning the MVP award. I hope he does win it

My current take on the ‘26 C draft class.

The C draft class is meh at best. Ratledge would be better than any of them tbh

I don’t see a day 1 starting C. Just move Ratledge to C and get on with it
