Putin's track record with ceasefires to date has been absolutely terrible. I hope, for the sake of the civilians trapped there without food and clean water, that this time is different.

Heute wählt Israel zum ersten Mal seit dem 7. Oktober. Der Wahltag ist bei uns ein Feiertag, Busse und Bahnen fahren kostenlos, damit jeder wählen kann. Und wählen dürfen alle: Juden, Christen, Muslime, Araber, Drusen, Tscherkessen, Aramäer.
Ein arabischer Israeli hat heute gleich vier arabische Parteien zur Auswahl. Ein 38-Jähriger Palästinenser hingegen hatte noch nie eine Wahl. Mahmud Abbas lässt dort seit zwei Jahrzehnten nicht wählen – ein Paradies für jeden Politiker!
Bei uns in Israel hingegen ist heute ein Fest der Demokratie. Auf diese Vielfalt und diese Energie bin ich sehr stolz.

An important humanitarian mission has begun in Oleshky.
A bilateral ceasefire has been declared in the area where the mission is taking place.
Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets has headed to the site and will be responsible for coordinating the process. We are in constant contact with him.
It is critically important that this mission to rescue our people be carried out successfully and safely.
I am sincerely grateful to everyone involved in carrying out and supporting this operation.
Every Ukrainian life is priceless.
We continue our work.

Ich habe eine Umschulung zur Bürokauffrau gemacht, weil ich meinen Handwerksberuf nicht mehr ausüben kann. Werde nächstes Jahr 60. Wo ist mein Job? Ich würde gerne noch volle 7 Jahre arbeiten. Aber Handel steht an erster Stelle und Arbeitsplätze an 3.
