Kissinger has one.
Obama has one.
The European Union has one.
What more proof do you need that this prize isn’t for peace, but for managing empire gracefully?

Today is a good day to remind everyone that the US narrative claiming the President of Venezuela is a drug trafficker is 100% lies. The Trump administration knows this, the Nobel committee knows this... it is a campaign to manufacture consent for invasion. Don't fall for it.

Who is driving climate breakdown? Buckle up for some striking data... 🧵
1. First, global North countries are responsible for 86% of cumulative emissions in excess of the safe planetary boundary.
China is responsible for 1%. The rest of the South and peripheral Europe is responsible for 13%.
These results arise from taking the safe carbon budget and dividing into national "fair shares" on a per-capita basis, and then assessing national emissions against national fair-shares.

The documentary that the BBC refused to air showing the targeting, detainment and torture of medics in Gaza by Israeli authorities was broadcast by Channel 4 last night.
Amnesty International researcher, Budour Hassan, explains the use of secret sites by the Israeli authorities.

Israel is becoming extremely unpopular in the West, especially among young people. Desperate measures by authorities to oppose this trend, such as cancelling musicians and listing Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation, won't convince people to like Israel more.

I can't see how the BBC will ever recover from its headlong leap into this ethical void, all in the name of not upsetting the perpetrators of the most horrific genocide since the end of the 2nd World War.
This is devastating.
Over a hundred BBC staff have signed a letter declaring they've been forced to do PR for Israel.
Just the latest chapter in the biggest scandal of Western journalism of our time

Below the pic of the pro-donkey demonstration in Gaza two days ago and to which I referred in my SIDECAR blog. The organisers thanked the donkeys for being more helpful than the Arab states and Turkey. Some wanted proof. Well here it is...in fact the donkey with light purple stockings is much better-looking than Sisi and Erdogan.

Americans need to shut the fuck up about sexism in Iran. We just forced a dead woman to give birth. You’re just Islamophobic. Shut up.

Another ineffective bullshitter. Jordan permits Israeli planes to use its air space regularly. Bars Iran from doing so and here is unable to distinguish one mouth from another.

I am one of the UK’s best known genocide scholars (3 books, lifetime award, have written on genocide and Palestine) and I have the same experience. I’m invited to comment by news organisations across the world, but not British.
This is Avi Shlaim. He is Britain's foremost historian, academic and author on Israel. But guess what? Not once has the BBC invited him on to any of their programmes. He lives in Oxford. english.elpais.com/internati…

Rhetorical circumlocutions and pure bullshit. Why hasn't Erdogan not broken off relations with Israel? Why did hew effectively collaborate with them to occupy Syria? Why doesn't Turkey send its planes to drop food for Gaza. He never answers questions of this nature. A pathetic figure.
BREAKING: Turkish President Erdogan on Netanyahu
“The most horrible photos and videos from World War II are innocent compared to the videos and photos we get from Gaza. During the Holocaust in Germany, they were not so inhuman, unconscious. Netanyahu's genocide, his cruelty, he has already surpassed Hitler.”

I actually can't believe a group of people who are currently executing starving men, women & children as they queue for flour is demanding our sympathy on the internet.
