Keeping a clean sheet vs a Brighton team who have scored 23 in their first 7, absolutely brilliant performance & a huge stride in the right direction.
Really enjoying watching Liverpool again. Breath of fresh air.
Still donât get how someone could think we donât look different from last season. Not saying itâs a finished product, but you can see where our foundations are being developed.
Araujo is a good case study that even if youâre a square peg in a round hole, the Anfield faithful will adore you if you simply work hard.
Playing the most red-hot team in the league at home where weâve struggled in the league. Big test.
Iâm not gonna sit here & pretend I watch United enough to come to any meaningful conclusion on what they should do, but at what point do you not hand the team over to the kids, sell the old-timers, & hire a manager thatâs ready for a 3 to 4 year project?
A very similar group of players has been through like 4 or 5 different managers.
đ¨đŁď¸ Bruno Fernandes calling out Carrick & the backroom staff: "It's a decision from the staff to not press man to man and sometimes leave space behind and try to get the ball, wait for them, but sometimes when you give space to these teams they get confidence."
đŁď¸ Bruno on whether he is saying Michael Carrick got his tactics wrong: "That's on the manager and staff to see, not me. Sometimes you have to be more brave under pressure, take the risk of pressing high and making them uncomfortable. As you saw with them [Como], the centre-back was coming to mark me in my own half. We need to do that as a team but we were unable to."
đŁď¸ Bruno: "A team that plays through the middle with small connections, if you give them too much time and space then they can hurt you out wide."
Based on the track record for this documentary they should just change the title to Nothing.
đ¨Amazon has been recording Manchester Unitedâs season for an âAll or Nothingâ series
United have lost their opening match to newly promoted Hull
Conceded a last minute equalizer to Everton
Lost to 10 man Manchester City
Have had JJ Gabriel request to leave the club
Lost to Brighton after being ahead by 2 goals
Lost to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League
Lisandro Martinez publicly criticized the clubâs ambitions
Concede after 2 minutes vs Como
0 wins in their last 6 matches
Starting to feel like every passing year United have their âworst start to a season of all-time.â Genuinely donât even have an inkling of how they can fix the club.
