The government cannot force EA to sell an IP they purchased in a legitimate business deal. They don't have the money to do it anyways.
Guys, at some point you have to accept that Bioware is gone. They're never coming back.

A Canadian politician has joined the SaveMassEffect movement and wants the government to help BioWare break away from EA.
“These publishers buy developers, run them into the ground, and rip them apart for profit,” said NDP leader Don Davies.
Davies says BioWare’s developers should get the chance to buy the studio and run it themselves.

As i've said multiple times. If you're sad about Bioware shutting down, focus on supporting their spiritual successors, or create your own original works.
The government can't help you & any calls to buy Bioware, or any of their IP's, will literally end in unfavorable results.

HERE’S THE TRUTH: There is nothing organic about this “movement. The followers of the account are a bunch of wokie journos and former failed writers and devs from BioWare that are trying to get their jobs back after they failed to create a product in entertainment that people would purchase.
They now have a random Canadian politician looking to STEAL taxpayer money in Canada to buy the IP and give these untalented hacks their jobs back.
This would set a very DANGEROUS precedent in gaming if it came to fruition.
Fuck these guys and what they’re trying to do. Fries in the bag. GTFO of the industry. Nobody wants to play your slop.
