Reliable, regular buses are a shot in the arm for village economies - just look at the value of the Ember bus to Glenshee. Public control of buses a no-brainer if it means more of this. @heraldscotland heraldscotland.com/politics/…
A few thoughts on why it’s in no one’s interests have another Scottish independence referendum unless and until support for it reaches 60% @heraldscotland heraldscotland.com/politics/…

Commuting for £2 on the bus is way better than driving on congested, potholed roads. Column in The Herald on how cheap buses might finally trump the car.

This year’s wildfires point to an unavoidable conclusion: we have to stop with the excuses and cut climate emissions, fast. My piece in tonight’s Herald @heraldscotland heraldscotland.com/opinion/2…
OK, so it’s not easy to take on Big Tech. A social media ban for under 16s won’t save children from online harm by itself. But it will certainly help. @heraldscotland

Across the world, the BBC is recognised as the best source of impartial news reporting.
It's not perfect, because nothing made by people ever is.
However, in these days of deliberate lies, manipulation & populism, it's a beacon of truth. Britain should be proud of it.

So I guess everything the IDF said a few days ago about those paramedics in Gaza was not true at all.
NYTimes just released this video found on the cell phone of one paramedic.
Completely contradicts everything the IDF said.
