The man rammed his car into the bank’s pavilion area before exiting with what appears to be an AK-style assault rifle.
Witnesses reported he headed toward the cafeteria before multiple shots were fired, sending people fleeing in panic. Some reported seeing him shoot someone near the cafeteria.
The gunman is dead, and at least 1 person has been killed.
The Hillsborough County sheriff’s office has described the shooting as a “targeted incident.”

As he exits he bumps her with his elbow — described as inadvertent.
She immediately calls it aggressive, says she could charge battery on a law enforcement officer, and radios backup that he’s being aggressive.
