Fact: the Orioles front office is one trillion times better at running a baseball team than 100% of Twitter.

MLB testing a rule that bans outfielders from shiftting hitter to hitter due to lack of offense. Here’s a unique idea how about finding hitters who can handle the bat and make adjustments or can’t the computer find that?
Orioles finish in last, Ravens in last after 7 weeks. Baltimore sports in its worst state ever currently
Who is in charge of strength and conditioning for this Ravens team? Injuries every single game and players completely gassed by the second half

Stephen Vogt blew management of the pitching staff massively in this series. Completely drained the bullpen. #Guardians
Everyone touted Craig Albernaz as a great hire because he learned under Stephen Vogt.
Vogt has been to the ALCS twice and lost twice. No World Series appearances. He’s not a winner.

Orioles fans have reached the breaking point. Ten bucks for a beer. Eight bucks for a hot dog. Three hundred and fifty bucks for a night at the ballpark. And the team still stalled. The young core didn’t take the leap. The big signings didn’t fix anything. Alonso produced. Everyone else flatlined. At what point does ownership say enough. At what point do fans demand accountability.

The @CleGuardians struck out 75 White Sox batters over 45.0 innings in the five-game series. That is the most strikeouts over any five consecutive nine-inning games against any opponent in MLB's modern era, regular season or postseason.
Another former player, so speaks from experience. He’s 100% right
At some point, baseball has to get back to valuing ballplayers and not just numbers on a screen. Give me the Freddie Freemans, the Buster Poseys, Hunter Pences, Pablo Sandovals, Michael Youngs, Ian Kinslers of the world. Guys who just flat out know how to play the game. Everyone wants to talk launch angle and exit velo, but what happened to valuing a quality at bat?” The 9-pitch battle that might end in an out, but forces a pitcher to show everything he’s got.
The guy who hits behind the runner, takes what’s given, or just refuses to give a pitcher an easy inning. Those at-bats might not look sexy in the box score, but they show up in the 7th, 8th, and 9th. Some of these dudes could absolutely leave the yard too. That’s the point. They weren’t one-dimensional. Somewhere along the way, we confused measurable tools with knowing how to win baseball games.
I’m not against analytics or hitting the ball hard, but there is an art to winning that you can’t fully measure. We need more guys who know how to play baseball, not just hitters, not just athletes, ballplayers. And I promise you, those dudes never go out of style
