Remember when Venmo used to be fun?
That was a while ago, so it was exciting to meet @gray_newfield one of the co-founders of new consumer payments app, @BeerMeWorld , that runs on the stablecoin USDC.
BeerMe reminds me that consumer startups are very much alive and kicking. VCs don't sleep on consumer.
And today looks like a better time than ever in the US to build in crypto.
We could get US crypto regulatory clarity in the next 365 days.. and stablecoins appear to be one of the highest priorities.
