I’m in Siena and after our guided tour I’ve found a little independent brewery which has been existence since 1876! They are called Birra Bader and I’ve gone for small taster sizes of 5 of their beers starting with their hoppy beer - Luppoleto; the Heller Bock; and a Marzen.

Flying from London City Apt early tomorrow, so I’ve got a hotel nearby. Looked for somewhere decent to have a beer or two not far from the hotel, so I’ve come to @beermerchantsHW and enjoyed a draft beer from @OtherHalfNYC and a Westie from their great fridges from @KCBCbeer.
A day of legendary beers - two from @AugustinerBrau, one from @SierraNevada, and the other from Měštanský Pivovar.
Some @TheBeakBrewery beers at @HopStopBeers. Bampa on cask, plus their interesting duo of collabs with @two_flints - Early and Late. The first is hopped with early harvest Motueka, the latter with late harvest Motueka. “Late” just shaded it for me, with a bit more going on.
Back up to London today to see a mate perform his comedy show (@Ja50nR05e - go and see him if you get the chance!) so a beer first in the @bluemaidldn (a gorgeous Dark Mild from @HowlingHops), then a pint of @FivePointsBrew Best in the comedy venue (The Roebuck SE1).
Yesterday I went to Blackhorse Lane for Harvestfest. Starting at @hackneychurchbc with a great Westie, before moving on to @BigPennySocial for @PressureDropBrw Pale Fire (which was absolutely 🔥).

Across the road from there is @40ftbrewery and I was delighted to see another Westie on tap. We were now at the “end” of the Blackhorse Beer Mile, so as we passed @hackneychurchbc on the way back, it made sense to stop for a nightcap of their Festbier!

A couple of beers at @HopStopBeers this evening - a great Westie from @thornbridge and @StoneBrewing, and a gorgeous cask Pale Ale from @ElusiveBrew.
Spent the evening in London yesterday, recording a podcast - but not mine! Lloyd of Pubs of the Shire Podcast invited me to chat about beer and pubs - and boy did I babble on (sorry Lloyd! 😁)

I’ve had a cracking few days in Valencia on a work trip. Making our own Paella, trips to great restaurants, and a great guided tour of the city. Thankfully some good beer was available at the hotel bar - local brewery, Tyris.
I’m away again for work - Valencia - but last night I had a couple of beers at home. Obviously the days in Munich of Helles and Festbier have taken a hold of me, as I’ve gone for one of each from @PrettyDecentBC and @SierraNevada. And they were superb!
I went to @harppub for the launch of @JonnyGarrett’s new book - One More Round, which features The Harp itself.
The beers were a banging Pale from @kernelbrewery, and a sumptuous and decadent Cinder Toffee Stout from @NewBristol.
