Inclusion | Community Visions and Networking Quinte (CVNQuinte) has signed the Workplace Inclusion Charter! ๐Ÿ“ As a signatory, they are leading by example by fostering a workplace culture that supports employee engagement, innovation, and organizational success. For more than 30 years, CVNQuinte has provided support to adults living with intellectual disabilities who may also be Deaf, hard of hearing or have challenges with communication. We asked how they support inclusion in their workplace: "One of our on-going and most significant practices that demonstrates inclusivity is our Engagement Sessions. Two to three times per year, we host inclusive sessions with our employees, providing opportunities for engagement with the Executive Director. During these sessions, employees are asked two questions: What would you change about the agency? and What would you never change?" Their message to other employers? "We believe that employees who are regularly valued, engaged and given opportunities to be heard feel more empowered to help their organization or business thrive. Workplace inclusion is not only beneficial for organizational success, but also simply the right thing to do." Learn more about the Workplace Inclusion Charter and how your organization can become a signatory: BellevilleBIQ.ca/Inclusion
