I'm honoured to have been selected by @MHPC for their 30 to Watch Politics award for under-30s.
I've been selected alongside some other amazing young people.
And I couldn't have done it without amazing team at @thefabians.

Delighted to be staying on in the role of Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Education, Culture and Gaelic for @ScottishLabour.
Affordable childcare, good schools and booming creative industries. Get those right and the whole country does better. Let’s get to work. 🌹🏴
Our shadow cabinet will be focused on the big issues facing Scotland.
We will hold the SNP to account on their record and work to get the best deal for Scotland, and use our influence where we can to deliver results for people.

Wonderful to catch up with everyone at the stunning venue @theBluecoat and contribute to conversations from housing to poverty to universal childcare and beyond!

It was great to kick off @thefabians Festival of Ideas by talking about a migration system that delivers compassion, contribution, and control.
We've got research out today on what the public wants, with more to come in the future.

One of the things we’re most excited for at conference is our home for the weekend.
The Fabian Society Festival of Ideas is once again moving into @theBluecoat - the oldest building in Liverpool city centre, the UK’s first arts centre, and for generations a hugely important part of the city’s cultural life.
For more than 300 years, the building has served Liverpool in different ways. Today it remains one of the city’s great cultural institutions, right at the heart of Liverpool.
It also makes for a rather different backdrop to the usual stuffy hotel conference rooms: galleries, courtyards, a garden, places to sit, grab a coffee or have some lunch - and, over the weekend, more than 50 events bringing together ministers, mayors, MPs, campaigners, experts and organisations from across the country.
And if the Liverpool weather does what Liverpool weather sometimes does, there are certainly worse places to escape the rain for a while.
We’re proud that the Festival of Ideas will be right in the heart of the city, open and welcoming to everyone whether they have a conference pass or not.
Somewhere to come for an event, stay for another, meet people, get a coffee, grab some lunch and be part of the conversation.
So if you’re at conference this weekend, come and find us at the Bluecoat. See plenty of ministers, hear some big debates and spend some time in one of Liverpool’s most important cultural spaces while you’re there.
We can’t wait to welcome you. 🌹
