I Actually disagree here, wasn’t a disappointing afternoon at all. Thought we gave a solid account of ourselves against a very experienced side. First and third goal avoidable for me but to a man we give it a good go and that’s all I asked. 70mins for me, and 1 megs 🥴😅

So much better today. Gave ourself a platform to build off defensively and were ruthless when we needed to be. Won’t sit here and say we’ve cracked it, but a brilliant, gutsy performance from our boys and some excellent debuts from our new boys. Super Bovey 🔴⚫️

He’s a Bovey man finally ⚫️🔴 A busy 10 days but that’s two solid additions in the door with more in the pipeline. I absolutely hate losing, il keep working for this group and get them the support they need, there’s a top side in there! Welcome aboard leights, let’s go! 🤝

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Leighton Green, who joins the Moorlanders on a dual registration with Weston-super-Mare. 🤝 🗣️ Ben on the signing of Leighton: “Leighton is a great addition, he’s a player I’ve been chasing for the last month and I’m delighted he’s now agreed. He comes with strong recommendation from Scotty rogers at Weston, a natural finisher with bags of pace & energy. Plays off the shoulder and runs the channels well which is a defenders nightmare! Another strong addition and I’m looking forward to seeing the goals come in for leights in a Bovey shirt! @WCR_Ltd @resindriveway Kenmart @VX3apparel SideKick Media @Bradfords_Build @aaronprinters @_WesternLeague_ @ProstateUK @Jewson @WEMCO_LTD @swsportsnews

🔴⚫️ WELCOME TO BOVEY, SHANE WHITE! ✍️ We’re delighted to announce the signing of experienced defender Shane White. Ben’s words on Shane’s arrival “Signing Shane white is huge, at probably the perfect time. I have had some difficult but honest conversations with lads that have been good to me over the last 18 months, but the situation is what it is and I have to address the fact we are conceding to many goals. Shane is a top defender and a real leader of men, he’ll help our lads settle into this new division and guide us towards being harder to beat. A friend of almost 20 years, and I’m delighted he’s here. Welcome whitey ⚫️🔴” @WCR_Ltd @resindriveway Kenmart @VX3apparel SideKick Media @Bradfords_Build @aaronprinters @_WesternLeague_ @ProstateUK @Jewson @WEMCO_LTD @swsportsnews

Tough day. But think I just saw the league winners in my opinion. Solid all over the pitch, levels above our lads. And I don’t think they will mind me saying that, Clevedon were excellent today. Andy Collings superb in goal, lessons hopefully learnt & we move on. Quickly 🥴

massive credit to Jimmy for taking that game seriously, Could have easily tossed that and sent the 18s. Proud of our club & boys tonight. Stood firm all evening against a strong Torquay side almost equalising late on hitting the post! To a man, proved they wanted to be here.

Wanted to sleep on it before 🗣️ Whilst I’m obviously not happy with the result nor the performance in particular. It’s another valuable lesson for our boys.We have to respect we’re in a better league now, cannot start games so poorly. We’ll be absolutely fine, but we must improve

Toughest result of our season. 90% possession even when down to 10 men. Complete control both halves and still lost the game 🥴 I’m fuming with the gifts we keep giving away, but what a top performance from us today. Not a tweet I want to do often, but lots to like today.
