Turns out I owe these guys an apology.
They’re a whole lot more honest than the 🫏 🫏 in Washington. 😂

Career politicians have spent years making promises they never intended to keep. Washington is overflowing with excuses, finger-pointing, and political games. The American people deserve leaders who tell the truth, do the work, and deliver results instead of more 🐂💩

Congress needs to pass this ⤵️
You read that right. There are NO background checks for Congressional staff. H.Res 500 would require background checks and full disclosure of dual citizenship and employment of foreign nations for staff. No surprise to anyone that we are being fought every step of the way. You can help us make sure all Capitol Hill staff get background checks by calling your Rep!

Republican FL-9 candidate Ben Butler announced raising more than $330,000 during his first fundraising quarter.
@BenLButler: "We’re proving that this race isn’t about who can write themselves the biggest check, but rather about earning the trust and support of the people we’re asking to represent.”

Washington has plenty of politicians.
What it needs is more people who have actually built something, produced something, and worked for a living.
I'm a dairy farmer, cattle rancher, and 9th-generation Floridian who understands the challenges facing working families because I live them every day.
Before sunrise, the cows still need feeding. The fences still need fixing. The bills still need paying.
That’s the kind of real-world experience Congress is missing.
We need to raise another $10,000 before the end of the week, so if you’re ready to help send a farmer to Congress, please chip in today and help us keep building momentum.

Today was a special day.
I officially qualified to appear on the ballot for Florida’s 9th Congressional District, and I was honored to have my grandmother, Mildred Butler, by my side as I signed the paperwork.
At 97 years young, she has seen nearly a century of American history, and she has always been an example of faith, hard work, family, and perseverance. Those values helped shape who I am and why I’m running for Congress.
As a ninth-generation Floridian, I understand that we don’t inherit this state from our ancestors—we borrow it from our children and grandchildren. That’s why I’m running: to protect our way of life, strengthen our communities, and ensure the next generation has even greater opportunities than the ones we’ve been blessed with.
I’m grateful for my family, grateful for the support we’ve received across District 9, and grateful for the opportunity to earn your vote.
Let’s get to work. Let's send a farmer to Congress. 🇺🇸

Last night I joined a python hunt in the Florida Everglades!
Got hands-on with Florida’s invasive species problem. Learned how to wrangle those slithery giants like a pro, joined a heart-pounding hunt under the swamp’s moonlight, & saw up close how these pythons disrupt the
ecosystem.
Who’s ready to join the hunt?

👏💧 This week, we celebrate the three-year anniversary of the Brighton Valley Dispersed Water Management Project.
This 8,000-acre project pumps water from the C-41A Canal and is estimated to remove three metric tons of phosphorus and 27 metric tons of nitrogen annually before it enters Lake Okeechobee.
More than 150,000 ac-ft or approximately 48.9 billion gallons of water has been pumped into the project for treatment since operations began in 2020.
Dispersed water management projects provide water storage on private property, help improve water quality and enhance plant and wildlife habitat.
