Do you have a retail online store for the products you produce on your farm?
If so, reply with a link, a quick description, and then retweet this. There are many great family owned retail operations, and #AgTwitter is a great place to showcase them.
I'll pin this thread.

NASS just corrected an error in the Sept. WASDE. USDA’s NASS says it found a processing error in September 2026 corn data affecting Kansas, Nebraska and U.S. yield and production forecasts.
NASS corrected the September figures, but October’s WASDE forecast remains unchanged: 181.2 bu./acre, up 2.7 bu. from September, with production projected at more than 16 billion bushels.

While the dry weather continues across the AG Belt, rain chances are on the rise this weekend across the Plains as an upper-level low emerges from the Four Corners. This system brings the risk for heavy rain into early next week. #agwx
Btw. Its Ruger 10/22 day for those who celebrate.
Go buy you a non registered can and run thru a brick of CCI.
Current corn harvest discovery price.
In order for corn to suffer a loss due to decline in price, Z6 would have to close limit down today and average a close below 3.95 for the rest of the month.
I post this every once and a while, its a neat tool for guys who have different dates on stuff. Example here is the end of the late planting period on irrigated winter wheat. 6 different dates just in my draw.

End of the insurance periods are coming up:
--Wheat, Barley, Oats, Canola, Dry Beans – October 31st
--Sunflowers – November 30th
--Corn (grain), Soybeans, Grain Sorghum – December 10th
Claims submitted after these dates are a delayed claim and may be denied.
Know the rules on appraised crops.
Doing this has an obligation to report production and implications on claims payments.
Anyone know the biggest SPREAD between final yield and PFT estimate?
Curious if USDA stays pegged here how that compares to other year spreads between PFT/USDA
PRF has some new rules. Stocking rates, coverage limitations, and new NCEI data.
Couple suggestions: make sure you get a new historical indemnity analysis and make sure its using NCEI data not the former CPC. Ive been running them and finding im changing some intervals.
Talk to a meteorologist or get an agent with one. The current el nino trend changes some bias. We use one amd think you should too.
Be aware of the Stocking Rate rules. Ask questions. Its murky territory and Ive done a pile of research and asked a bunch of questions.
Couple of stellar folks. Looks great.
Our client, Tyler (@KuglerFarms), put up a bin and asked if we wanted a sign on it. Then, he took this gorgeous pic for us.
Find the sign, tag us with a photo, and we'll send you a roll of our famous Quartzite tape.
