Falls Through is finally out. Go stream it, share it and crank it loud in your car on your way to work. I pray it’s not just another song that gets added to your playlist, but that it’s a reminder that God will never give up on you.
Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to help make this song so special. What a gift.

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”
- Hebrews 13:5

Do you run away when things get tough? Do you purposely fill your day with work and make yourself busy to just not think about it?
I learned the hard way that I can’t run anywhere or do anything, where He isn’t already waiting.

“Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.”
- Psalm 139:7-8

“But now thus says the Lord,
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.”
- Isaiah 43:1

Take it from me, you don’t really find out who your savior is until you need saving, again and again and again. He met me in the woods and reminded me of just how He loves.

The weight of an axe seems to get heavier after carrying it all day. And I’ve found that a forest is filled with more trees than you can both count or cut. Stop working around me, Ben, I want you to work with me, not for me.

“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
- Psalm 46:10
I had successfully isolated myself again this past winter, terrified of commitment, hiding in plain sight and believing old lies about myself that God had already redeemed. I’m sorry that I got too busy, and I’m sorry that I forgot to just stop and listen
to the only voice that mattered. And thank you for always reminding me of who you made me to be when there’s no one else around. Jesus it’s you, when it all falls through.
love,
