O-M-G, THE LATEST MTA BOARD MEETING REVEALS THE DEATH AND CARNAGE IN THE DEADLY AND DANGEROUS NYC SUBWAY UNDER KATHY HOCHUL
Compared with 2019, the reported violent crime rates are:
• Violent crime: +53.09%
• Murder: +249.22%
• Rape: +132.81%
• Felony assault: +133.59%
• Robbery: -3.42%
These figures do not include the latest broad daylight murder earlier this month in th deadly and dangerous NYC subway..
When nearly every major violent crime category has risen dramatically since 2019, no amount of political spin from Kathy Hochul can change the reality riders face underground.
It doesn't have to be this way. Change is possible.
Since I already voted, and I don't really have to think about it, I'd like to take a moment to honor a fallen Democrat.
Eric Swalwell had a VERY good chance at winning the nomination. Despite banging a Chinese spy, Dems were still going to push this beacon of hope through the finish line as the Democrat nominee for governor of California.
Such a shame all his diddling around caught up to him. Pouring out a little cat urine laced with Rohypnol for you Eric!

This is the most horrifying thing I have ever seen. Islamists in Nigeria kidnapped young Christians, tying them up and torturing them, before beheading them while chanting "Allahu Akbar."
Where is the outrage?

Mamdani’s corruption is getting worse. He’s now using $1.6 million in taxpayer money to push ballot questions that would expand his power and strip checks and balances from New Yorkers. This isn’t just a plan, it’s something he’s already doing now and it’s not legal.
The Mamdani administration is running an ad blitz of social-media videos, text messages, and other outreach that frames the five proposals on the November 3 ballot as a way to get “faster government” and cut red tape. The ads never mention that the measures would reduce City Council review, limit community board and borough president input, and shift more authority to the mayor and city agencies. In other words, it would make Mamdani more of a king than he already acts like.
City law prohibits government officials from using public funds to advocate for or against ballot proposals. Critics, including Councilwoman Joann Ariola and Councilman Phil Wong, say the campaign crosses that line by trying to influence the outcome rather than simply encouraging people to vote. One proposal would fast-track outdoor dining sheds and street projects by eliminating public hearings and Council oversight. Another would let the mayoral-controlled City Planning Commission handle certain property sales and leases instead of the Council. The Charter Revision Commission that selected the questions was appointed by Mamdani.
Mamdani is doing everything he can to empower himself to steal the property from New Yorkers and once that happens they’ll never get it back. That’s how socialists operate. You’ll have nothing and like it.
This is how power consolidates under socialist regimes. They present the measures as harmless efficiency upgrades, fund the messaging with public dollars, and omit the part where residents and their elected representatives lose leverage. Voters are being asked to approve changes that make it easier for the administration to act without the friction of local input or legislative review.
New Yorkers should reject the proposals Mamdani is illegally promoting with taxpayer money. Taxpayer money is for serving the public, not for marketing a mayor’s expansion of authority. If the administration wants faster government, it can do that within the existing system instead of rewriting the rules to remove the people who are supposed to watch it.
But many of the same people voting on these measures are the same people who elected Mamdani. Many still naively think socialism can work and will likely hand over more of their freedoms to a man born in Uganda who will gladly take them.

NYC City Council are a bunch of communist slobs who've never built anything, never met a payroll, and never made a dime they didn't take from someone else.
Last night they passed COPA, and they did it quietly, because cowards always do.
Here's their scheme. Own a building and want to sell it? You now have to beg City Hall for permission first. Then you wait while their hand-picked cronies get first crack at your property. Only after that do these clowns let you sell your own building.
Don't buy the "nonprofit" label either. These buyers are certified by the city, chosen by the city, and bankrolled by the city. When the government picks the buyer and writes the check, the government is the buyer. It's a land grab dressed up as charity.
My family fled Cuba on a fishing boat when I was seven. I know these people. They always start with "helping tenants," and they always end up owning everything while the buildings crumble.
These freeloaders are strangling small landlords, chasing off investors, and wrecking the city they claim to love.
As Comptroller, I'll audit every dollar of this racket. New York was built by free markets, not by Council Members who couldn't run a lemonade stand.
